The Met Incident
London - Eastern Residential
Split into two distinct sections, upper and lower, the Eastern Residential district of London represents two sides of a common coin. Multi-level streets and highways zigzag through the skies, linking building to building far above the limits of the ground. Parks and blocks are built in the air, supported by massive collumns and some by retrojets. Below the majestic metal city above, the lower residential area has been a bit more neglected, where the more common people live. Buildings, save for the very bases of the massive skyscrapers, are less technological and advanced, and common stores decorate the blocks. While some may see as a slum, to those that inhabit it, the lower area is very warm and friendly.

Obvious exits:
South leads to London - Historical District.
East leads to London - Eastern Outskirts.
North leads to London - Commercial District.
West leads to London - Eastern Downtown.
Iris doesn't see the nerping, stealthy met. After a moment, she heads back inside the flat.
Iris has left.
Iris enters into Zero's Flat.
Stealth Met nerps happily. nerp nerp nerpity
Stealth Met
it's a small, camoflauge shelled met hat. it's eyes are a nice deep blue, and it has a small booster hidden in each foot. It also has a small set of laser sights deployed out of it's shell. when it isn't running around being a met. A small maverick emblem is visible on the underside of one foot. And it nerps quietly, instead of loudly like most mets.
Gemini Man is walking about at a casual pace. He doesn't notice the reploids, or the nerping met.
Stealth Met nerps happily and notices another person. nerp. the stealth met nerps. and watches. stealth nerp mode, engaged! nerp nerp nerp nerp...
Iris and Zero's Flat
In the heart of the theatre district is a series of flats, just 3 miles from the subway station to the teleporters and the mega mall, however, it is just minutes from the clubs that have made London so popular. The Building is pre WWIII, and looks it's age, as far as architecture goes. The commercial half of the building faces Drury Lane; the residential half faces Crown Court, which is why the apartment is so quiet. The residential part has two large elevators that bring you to the apartment on the fourth floor.
Set in a small row of flats is a single apartment. On the name 16 Dury N Street is a simple one. Zero. Right below it is a second plaque, added by the flat management. Security.

Bradley Williams arrives from the London - Eastern Downtown.
Bradley Williams has arrived.
Gemini Man looks at each of the buildings here in turn; he hasn't purused this area as carefully as some of the others. Turning to peer into a window (and finding the contents uninteresting), he doesn't notice the little met in approach...
Stealth Met nerps happily. and is stealthy. yet nerping. odd. the met takes a moment to explain the meaning of life to a nearby pigeon. "nerp, nerp nerp nerp, nerp nerp, nerpity nerp nerpity"
Gemini Man blinks. oO(...nerp nerp nerp...?)Oo He turns around, and spots the blur of motion that is the little camo Met. "Hey. Don't I know you?"
Bradley Williams sends a radio transmission.
Gemini Man
A man of about six feet tall. Thinly built and well-groomed, he has a bit of a "young business professional" sort of look; it's difficult to tell exactly how young. He's wearing a dark grey suit; the collar buttoned up, but with no tie. It's tailored, but the pants seem to be intentionally a size too baggy. His right arm sports a very expensive-looking watch, gold and mother-of-pearl with several faces and buttons. He has dark eyes, and dark brown, neatly trimmed hair.
Stealth Met nerps innocently. and starts waddling back to it's bench, nerping contentedly as he jets back up onto his bench.
Bradley Williams receives a radio transmission from Zero.
Bradley Williams remains concealed in the silhouette of shadows on the rooftop.
Bradley Williams sends a radio transmission to Zero.
Bradley Williams receives a radio transmission.
Bradley Williams sends a radio transmission to Zero.
Gemini Man watches the Met; he's certain he's seen that one somewhere before. And he doesn't like the idea that HE might be being shadowed. Well, the key here was not to look suspicious, so, after seeing the Met walk away, so did he. Carefully.
Stealth Met nerps contentedly and starts explaing the meaning of life to the nearest object that doesn't inch away from the nerping met
Bradley Williams crouches and continues on with his radio conversation.
Bradley Williams receives a radio transmission.
Gemini Man blinks, suddenly having a fairly simple and useful idea. He then takes another good long look at the Met...taps something on his watch.
You take a holographic scan of Stealth Met.
Bradley Williams sends a radio transmission.
Bradley Williams sends a radio transmission to Zero.
Stealth Met nerps angrily as he spins around, jetting along and landing on Gemini's head, hopping up and down and nerping. "NEPR NERP NERPITY NERP NERP NER!" The met doesn't like having it's picture taken
Gemini Man swats at the Met, and pushes it off his head. "Stop THAT."
Stealth Met is angry! fear! the little met starts hopping up and down on Gemini's foot, nerping angrily as it kicks him in the shin, painting him with a laser pointer and nerping in total outrage
"Ow!!" Gemini hops on one foot and grabs at his shin. Stupid creature had quite a kick. Well, one deserved another. He pulls back his foot and punts the Met. "Too late, little guy."
Stealth Met nerps angrily, activating it's jets in midair and nerping angrily as it jets into the side of Gemini's head. and then jumping up and down on his shoulder. "NERP NERP YOU NERP NERP NERPING NERP NERP NERP"
Gemini Man reaches over and GRABS the Met, holding it kicking by its hard-hat body. "You want me to give the picture back, little guy?"
Bradley Williams sends a radio transmission to Zero.
Bradley Williams enters the London - Commercial District.
Bradley Williams has left.
Gemini Man shouts, "Yeowch!" He's just been bitten by the Stealth Met, which he holds in now only one hand. Still holding one side of the hat, he flings it away, then attempts to put some distance between himself and the annoying little critter.
Stealth Met nerps angrily, jetting after gemini man, still nerping at him. "NERP NERP NERP NERP NERP!" Yes, that's right kiddies, there's a dash jet hovering met chasing after Gemini Man
Gemini Man picks up pace, but he hears the Met still gaining on him. Yipe! Well, he wasn't going to break into a RUN from a stupid hardhat. He turns on his heal, and, BWAM, pops a Gemini Laser at the approaching offender. As he's got a disguise up, it looks extremely unusual, like a blast of light from the palm of a fleshy hand.
Stealth Met nerps in panic as it gets hit and flung backwards, nerping frantically as it gets blasted and embeds itself in a door with a loud bang. "nerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......."
Iris leaves out of Zero's Flat.
Iris has arrived.
Iris steps out of the flat, staring at what appears to be a Met imbedded in the front door. "Oh, for the love of...ZERO??! Come out here and look at this!" she calls inside.
Grace leaves out of Zero's Flat.
Grace has arrived.
Gemini Man turns away and whistles innocently. Ok...time to leave...
Stealth Met nerrps slowly. "nerrrrrrrr."
Zero leaves out of Zero's Flat.
Zero has arrived.
Iris is standing at the front door to the flat, staring at a Met which seems to have imbedded itself in the door.
Zero steps out, and sees the Met. A met-hater himself (Go D-Backs!), Zero yanks the poor creature out of the wall, winds up, and -chucks- it across the way! "Get lost, you annoying pest!"
Gemini Man can't help seeing this manuever, and golf-clapping as he walks off.
Stealth Met nerps frantically, nerping unhappily and engaging it's boosters, then dropping. right onto Gemini's head. nerp from beyond the grave.
Iris sighs. "I thought they sprayed this neighborhood for icky things like that," she laments...then looks around with a smile. "Maybe we should go to the par instead, it's such a nice day...what do you think?"
Grace scratches her head, "I thought we were gonna see Kalinka's daddy?"
Zero says, "Well, hon, there's something going on at the Labs. May not be the best time at the moment. I know.. let's go to the place where we first became a couple, Iris, remember, in Central Park?"
Iris smiles, her gaze soft and a bit romantic at the recollection. Remembering they have a little one to think about, she turns to Grace. "And they have a playground, too!"
Gemini Man struggles with the Met, grabs it, and FLINGS it back in the opposite direction. "Keep your garbage back on your side of the street."
Grace nods, "I love playgrounds! They're full of play."
Zero watches the Met fly back. Whee, deflect. Popping up his sabre, Zero takes the pitch down the center, and with a mighty swing, KA-RACK! The Met flies.. deep, deep deep into center field, going going.. gone! Gee, Gemini Kim Man?
Stealth Met blinks and mentally cringes as it gets thrown the way it just came. right over towards zero. oO(NERRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP)Oo. The Met hat hits a wall, bounces, and falls onto the street on it's back, nerping frantically. "nerp nerp nerp nerpit nerp nerp nerp nerp nerp nerp"
Gemini Man watches the Met fly, then high-tails it out of there before the stupid thing cause him any more trouble. Lousy vermin.
