The Siege of Cairo

[Watching Enker during this fight is quite amusing, since I managed to get a log of the whole thing. The Man with the Golden Gun couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.]

Robot Master MOTD
We attack Cairo tonight -- hopefully! Make sure you read the bboard for information and whatnot.

Vehicle Bay [Skull Citadel]

The Citadels docking area is reached by entering the mouth of the giant skull on the outside of the fortress. The mouth/entrance is large enough to accommodate a vessel as large as the Bonnes Gesellschaft. If the entrance alone is that large, you can imagine how vast the bay itself is. Robot Master ships, ground vehicles, ride armors, and construction mechs occupy most of the wall-mounted refueling stations at the moment.

Bay Doors leads to Egypt.
Blue Doors leads to Teleporter Room [Skull Citadel].

Pirate Man is silent as he watches drones move in and out of the Dreadskull before he silently pulls out a map to study as his optic shifts around the bay for a few seconds

Heat Man waits, playing with some kite string.

The samurai sits in a meditative position on top of a crate, looking at a portable vid-screen. He watches it impassively, speaking to his brothers through his radio.

Sword Man enters in through the teleportation room, back from his little hiatus at his castle. Strangely enough, he smells of wood and oil. He has apparently done a LOT of training while he's been gone. He bows to his brothers silently, a determined look on his face and take a place on one of the various crates, awaiting the imminent action.

Pirate Man smirks as he looks to the others nearby before checking the map one more before looking down to a met that has stopped by him saying, "Mr. Smee, get me the map of Cairo. Enker and the others may need it before we move out.", the met nerps before running into the Dreadskull

Ice Man walks in through the teleporter room doors. Intereestingly enough, sans parka. He's in his spiffy new armor. Ohh, ahh. It's all nice and shiny. Ice put it togather after his late foray into the desert. Much better then a parka for desert missions. He walks over to a crate and sits down, patiently (albeit nervously) waiting for the attack to commence.

Heat Man continues to make various shapoes and stuff with his kite string. Ooooh! Cat's cradle!

Gemini Man walks into the vehicle room from the hall below, steps slow, and straining to be soft, single hand tensing and untensing. ...Soon...

The Met quickly returns quickly giving the map to Pirate Man as he paces a bit, a smirk crossing his face as he moves to a nearby table and unrolls the map so he can get a good look at it, but says nothing as he waits

Footsteps softly echo from the stairwell, giving a small advance warning of the approach of... Crystal Man? In his armor?! Now there's something unusual; Crystal Man actually volunteering for a raid. "Greetings, brothers," he calls out to the room in general, just loudly enough to be heard.

The samurai remains seated on top of the crate, watching GNN switch between Paris and Berlin. His gaze is neutral, his expression assumedly grim.

Sword Man bows from his seat on a crate. "Good day, Sir Crystal. I see you are armored. I believe it safe to assume you are partaking in the attack?"

Heat Man waves to the others, and moves to sit behind Yamato, curious to see if anything interesting comes out of it. Like a miracle.

Ice Man watches the GNN from his crate. He still looks cute in his new armor. So much for the coolness effect. Maybe he show ask Magnet about how to achieve that sometime. "So, uh, you guys think Paris and Berlin have a chance?"

Sword Man slams a fist as Ice mentions the attacks on the two European cities. He says nothing however, a determined, yet steadily angering expression on his face. He continues to sit, glancing about every so often, keeping his gaze off the GNN broadcast.

Crystal Man walks over to seat himself on a crate not far from Sword Man so as to speak with him without disturbing the others present unnecessarily. "Indeed, Sword," the mystic replies as he folds his hands in his lap. "The nature of this particular attack as described by Enker seems proper to me." A twinkle of something can be noticed in his eerie blue optics for a second. "Perhaps he has come to understand..."
The crystal conjurer then looks over towards Ice Man as he speaks. "I alone do not know, nor have I asked... but in either case, I must pray for them."

"It will be bloody," says Yamato, continuing to focus most of his attention on the vidscreen. New armor, new people present, various other things -- they don't really command Yamato's attention at the moment. He does, however, answer the question.
"Repliforce has numbers, but the Mavericks have fierocity. The property damage is already extensive -- the fires will burn for hours. This, and the Prague incident, has put a great deal of pressure on Europe. I believe the Mavericks may wish to set up an area of control there -- if they continue to harry and overrun the Repliforce there, they should have no difficulty acquiring land."

Enker has arrived.
Enker enters the base.

Crystal Man's optics close and his head hangs slightly at Yamato Man's words. "A pity," he murmurs. "A true pity..."

"A pity, one says!" The voice booms out, before the shadows that so bravely hide within the corners come together to form one man. But it isn't just one man -- it's Zorro. No, wait, it's just Enker. Floating over the masses, the Elite Commander raises his hands above his head. "The time is ripe, my brethren. The time is now. We must depart to sieze the promised land, to take that which is ours! The time -- IS NOW!"

The samurai jolts up at Enker's command, casting the portable vidscreen aside. He jumps off the crate and takes his position with his brothers, standing at battle-attention -- awaiting the direction in which to run.

Heat Man stands up as well, though not as sharply to attention. And he's still got kite string all over his hands...

Sword Man hears Enker's....elaborate entrance and kneels in reverence as he floats above them. "Brother Enker. We are ready and at your order." He restrains his anger as more news continues to pour in about the Maverick attacks, and continues to kneel until Enker addresses them again.

Ice Man jumps up at stands nervpusly at attention.

Crystal Man looks up as Enker speaks, at that same moment moving from his crate to stand at attention. "Greetings, brother," he calls to the golden one. "Shall we show the world how this is to be done, as you described?"

Pirate Man is silent as he looks back to the map of Cairo for a few seconds as he scratches his chin, optic shifting left to right as he looks to the others in the room

"Yes, yes, greetings, felicitations, salutations, what have you, what have you, what have you!" Enker responds. "The time is now. I shall not repeat myself again -- into the transports, right this moment, and I shall send them off to where they need to be. Two strike forces. One to hit the harbour and any Repliforce ships within, another to strike from the south, and scourge the town through and past Rocket Town. Just remember -- keep collateral at a minimum, but blow the good guys up good!"

Guts Man hangs around waiting for the dstruction to happen.

Yamato, as he can't swim, charges off towards the transport that will carry the strike team into the land assault. He assumes, perhaps rightly, that Pirate Man will lead the assault on the harbor with the Whale Sub or the Dreadskull. Or not. Who knows?

Heat Man nods. "I think I'm more in the mood to settle scores with people who can fight back." Then, he heads with Yamato, figuring that if anyone is headed for the "fair fights", it's him.

Ice Man isn't any good in the water either, so he too heads for the ground attack transport.

Crystal Man quickly moves to follow Yamato Man so he can be part of the Rocket Town group. After all, if the aim is to destroy only the targets, best that it be done right...

Yamato Man has left.

Sword Man nods from his position, stands, and bows to Enker again. Silently, he heads off to join the ground attack team.

Ice Man has left.
Heat Man has left.
Sword Man has left.
Crystal Man has left.
Guts Man has left.
Pirate Man has left.

Pirate Man is silent as he watches the others before he chuckles saying, "All crew members report for duty!", he smirks as he watches drones start to move in and head aboard the Dreadskull

Gemini Man says, "Yeah...bout time!" His tense hand makes a 'yes' gesture, and he walks over to the silver worm in the corner. ...No time like the present, after all. He reaches up, and...

Wilyworm [Quicksilver Earthworm] rumbles slightly as she activates, primary thrusters coming online.

Enker raises his hands, starting to weave an intricate pattern. Twin portals open, and each ship is slowly pulled inwards.. "You'd best hurry, children, unless you wish to be left behind.."

Dust Man arrives from the Great Hall [Skull Citadel].
Dust Man has arrived.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "Ships.. almost deployed. Soon, soon. I shall make the Nile run red, to herald the assault. Soon, soon."

SS Dreadskull

So far as the general layout goes, much hasn't changed on the interior of the ship. The first floor below the main deck is still used for the crew, but its been modified more for the needs of a robotic crew, with energy dispensors, recharge chambers and assorted other high tech collections. The cafeteria and game room still exist however, as even terrorist robots need to take some time off now and then. About every second room over or so, there's a station that androids can man in the event of combat so as to control some of the weapon emplacements of the ship, putting less stress on the main computers so they can concentrate on other things...such as the shields and engines. The huge cargo bays are still as big as they ever were, except it's here that the majority of a workload is handled. When all weapons are retracted, they are here, able to be worked on by the myriad of drones that mill about. Craft carried within the ship's belly are also stored here in a makeshift hangar bay, where they can be repaired and rearmed. The engine room, while not as big as the cargo bay, is still massive in its own right, and constantly crawling with maintenance drones to ensure the ship is operating at peak efficiency at all times. The cabinhouse, aka, the Skull at the front has the same layout as before. A heavy wooden wheel at the front steers the ship left or right, and even can control the altitude. Along the back of the bay are dozens of terminals for scanners, radar, communications, weapons readouts, damage displays, etc. The entire ship is a bustle of activity at any time...

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "Deploy and begin the scourge, for Albert Wily!"

Pirate Man chuckles as he looks to the monitor displaying the others as he said, "Ye heard him mates, attack! All crew to battlestations and prepare to fire weapons!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "Deploy and begin acquisition. The teleporters are offline."

Gemini Man directs the worm to the exit, then, exclaims, excitement building in his eyes, "Let's go!"

Cairo - Harbor District

Although trade is mostly done through either mass teleportation or hoverships, a good number of companies still use either hydrofoil ships or ancient cargo barges to navigate the Nile and its destination, the Mediterranean Sea. Though not nearly the bustling sea port it once was, the harbor district still houses many of the warehouses and docks of private companies and even private citizens' yachts and hoverboats. This is not the best area, and even the city police don't often come here if they can help it. A haven for reploids and humans for hire, as well as plain criminals, the docks are host to several rough and tumble bars, where more than a drink can be bought for the right price. To the west, the lights of the commercial district reflect from the ever-flowing waters of the Nile, and to the south the noise and smells of the bazaar can ocassionally be sensed on the wind. To the north and east of here, the mighty Nile abruptly cuts off Cairo from the smaller, revitalized city of Alexandria.

[Global News Network] Quirky and cute news-anchor Anita Frightengale breaks off the news from elsewhere in the globe, to report on this late-breaking story. "I'm breaking off the news from elsewhere on the globe, to report on this late-breaking story! It seems that the Nile near Cairo has quite suddenly become red! Red with blood! -- Oh, sorry, that's too biblical. The Nile appears to have been turned into a large quantity of jello! This shocking chain of events.. Oh, yeah, it's a chain of events! The Robot Masters have also begun a massive assault on the city, from both the harbor district in the north of the city and from the south near Rocket Town! The teleporters have also been cut off entirely, and the hordes of generic forces have begun spilling into the city!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Hey, is that cherry Jello?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Because if it is, I want someone to save me some."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Theta Squad Taskmaster, Sword Man transmits, "Now is not the time to jest, brother. Now is the time for action."

Pirate Man laughs for a bit as the Dreadskull starts to fire on any ship in the harbor as drones move out of the ship saying, "Give them no quarter! Take all ye can from these fools!", he smirks as he looks around staying aboard the ship

Floating serenely above it all, watching as the Robot Masters deploy and devastate, the Elite Commander shines with negative light. Body completely inversed from its original state, color-wise, Enker keeps his arms outstretched to each side. He floats as a beacon. A bastion of all that is evil in the world, the mastermind behind the Robot Masters. And yet, for now, he simply watches, and calculates, the general behind the lines.

Jell-O or not, the Nile running red offers a good deal of inspiration to the overzealous avatar of War. Working momentarily without his holographic clone, Gemini Man allows the new Wilyworm to lead the way as 'she' leaves the Dreadskull. The first dock bursts under the heavy contact of the worm, but when she gets her bearings, the worm begins to slip, easily and devistatingly quickly, through the streets, beginning to empty them before Gemini, leaping out over the wrecked dock, makes a much slower and more deliberate entrance.

Slash Beast arrives from the Cairo - Commercial District.
Slash Beast has arrived.

Knight Man is indeed here, fully armored, ready to fight for Wily. He got here under his own power, considering his recent... temporary relocation. He's here to prove something to his brothers that may doubt his loyalty, he still fights for his Lord Wily, that will never, EVER change. Though his recent experience with Tron has indeed altered his outlook a little. Usually in these attacks Knight will be one of the ones leading the charge to do senseless destruction around the city, but for now, Knight is calm, and unmoving. Waiting for his real opponents to come, he'll not do any unnecessary fighting tonight. He glances up at Enker, still worried about his motives. He has no doubt in his loyalty, but he still believes he's hiding something from them. But regardless, he's here to take the city, and he'll do that once the Repliforcers arive.

Magnet Man has arrived.

The disabled teleporters prove little barrier for the Kuwait Repliforcers. Just a short jaunt over the Dead Sea, after all. And Slash Beast had been expecting something while the Mavericks were out in force, just not something quite this size...

Even so, he's managed to call out two dropships filled with Repliforcers- about 20 apiece. So the dropships aren't that big. They swoop in low, coming from the Mediterreanen, flying towards the Harbor as close to the water as possible. Quick reaction, but will it be enough? 40 'forcers are barely enough, especially in the city against the Masters. Devils, they are, and it'll be tricky without leveling a large part of the city. What can they do but try, though?

Pirate Man smirks as he watches Gemini and Knight as he finally leaves the ship, he focuses on one of the drones saying, "Spread out but don't take any valuables yet. When we have this city is completely under our control, then the looting can begin.", he then looks around silently, his good eye shifting towards the sky for a few seconds as the Dreadskull continues to fire upon the ships in the harbor, not ceasing in its barrage as others move out into the city

Guts Man has arrived.

Enker continues to float up above, watching in growing silence. Growing silence, and yet.. growing boredom. Too easily the Elite Commander grows bored, when he should instead be directing traffic below. "It does not matter, for it matters not. Generic squad alpha, move down the alleyway to your left. Repliforce reinforcements are on route, and the United Nations still have their vanguard nearby. But no matter, there is no matter to the matter. We shall persevere."

Wilyworm [Quicksilver Earthworm] flickers up and down the street, dispatching generics with improbable ease. When assaulted by Repliforce troops, the stolen item begins the first round of its laser assault.

Gemini Man's optics flicker around as he watches the fighting begin. Suddenly he spots the front of the Repliforce assault, and can wait no longer. Leaping forward into the fray, and subdividing as he does so, he begins unloading his increased firepower into the front of the line. One white and red shot hits three targets, nearly disabling them all, leaving them as injured husks for the clone to finish off.

Sarah Storm arrives from the Entrance Area.
Sarah Storm has arrived.
Sarah Storm activates her stealth mode.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "You guys need reinforcements over there?"

Knight Man hmms as the Repliforcers deploy. Dandy, just dandy. Well it's only 40 of then, no biggie. He unfolds his arms, and forms his mace, and takes his shield off his back. Time to get to it! Senseless violence. Chaos. Knight doens't find them appealing like he used to, but still, he does what he needs to. Charge!

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ice Man transmits, "It might be nice Elec."

Dawn arrives from the Cairo - Commercial District.
Dawn has arrived.

Under the orders of the Elite, the gumbie squadron barrels down the indicated alleyway. Hardhats, sniper joes, all capped off by a larger sniper armor that follows the group. Strangely enough, any civilians caught in their path are.. left completely alone. It is the military objectives that they're after, and that's precisely what they begin firing at. A small United Nations peacekeeping station comes into their collective view, and pellets of yellow energy are shot.

The dropships land, and no sooner do the Repliforcers exit than they are set upon. Valiantly, they try to fight back, laser blasts filling the air immediately, some of the quicker melee reploids dashing forward. <<...What...what in blazes is that?!>> One had spotted the Wilyworm. Slash Beast stays within the dropship, gathering data before he himself joins in the fray. He lets out a low snarl as he sees the worm and thumps the console with a huge paw. <> The troopers acknowledge and turn their weapons on the smaller Masters, several firing point blank at the avatar of Mars, others seeking out targets warily. Reinforcements had better show soon...

Dawn is approaching the harbor alone. With a traffic light in hand, likely ripped out of the ground. Surely the locals won't mind, right? Must look odd to see her flying a good ten feet over the ground, backpack's flight-thrusters propelling her to the battleground at good speed.

Soft laughter is carried on the breeze, the source easily identifiable to any who would look skyward; the Elite Commander, Enker himself, continues his serene floating above the growing battles below, colors completely inversed to make him all the more noticable. The bearer of Saturn, whose Ring encircled the golden Master, is most certainly at the helm here for this partah.

Gemini Man welcomes the agression of his opponents. Though an occasional 'forcer shot hits its mark, many others simply fly by, dodged by the pair of twins' enhanced speed. Agressive and mischievous, the twins push two of the soldiers together, cracking their heads together. One of them then turns and unleashes another volley of firepower, while the other makes good and sure a Reploid is dead, pulling out his internal processor with a string of sparks, wires, and mechanical interior.

Pirate Man is silent as he looks towards Enker for a few seconds saying nothing as he watches the drones move out to attack, a smirk crossing his face as he radios the Dreadskull as it finally stops assaulting the ships in the harbor as the master corsair starts to fire back on any Repliforcers that come his way, his single optic narrowing to a slit

Ether Skunk arrives from the Cairo - Bazaar District.
Ether Skunk has arrived.

Ring Redwing arrives from the Cairo - Commercial District.
Ring Redwing has arrived.

Dawn continues to fly in rather low to the ground, keying on the assault in progress by Pirate Man's group. For someone who's carrying a traffic light in the arms, she looks surprisingly unconfident. Probably the sheer ODDS out here. Regardless, she tries to sail past Pirate Man's head and clip him with her feet.
Dawn strikes Pirate Man with her Smash attack.

Medieval Fox arrives from the Cairo - Bazaar District.
Medieval Fox has arrived.

Pirate Man's optics widen as he is almost sent flying, optics narrowing as he quickly looks around to see who attacked him before finally focuses on Dawn, he looks around for a few seconds before quickly aiming before sending a high powered blast of water towards Dawn
Pirate Man strikes Dawn with his Water Blast attack.

Wilyworm [Quicksilver Earthworm] continues assaulting the troops as they arrive. Not an RM design, but an RM requisition, and both a swift and efficient combatant, pushing back against a squad of troops with its sheer bulk and velocity.

Ether Skunk doesn't need a pendant chase to make with the fancy optical illusions of her customary entrance. WAy up in the sky, where Skunks are usually not permitted, she cuts a glimmering lavender swath as she shoots in from the south, the teleport station- beaming directly towards the Harbor, it would seem. Ether has never been one for a stealthy approach- her bright and flashy flight lights her up as clear as daylight. It's clear she's on something of a warpath... well, as much of a warpath as a perky skunkette can be, really.

Dawn flies right on by after striking Pirate Man, spinning around to face him. Bad choice; he's already fired. The pressured water puts a rather massive dent in her midsection, causing her to drop the traffic light for now. Beyond the solid injury it deals, it also makes her angry. Letting out a loud shout, she lands and begins charging at Pirate Man, attempting a 'double axehandle' strike and making an uppercut followup.
Dawn misses Pirate Man with her Heavy Punch attack.

Gemini Man sinks another round of firepower into the front of the opposing squad, then one twin hangs back to regroup himself. ...So far, he's been good about keeping property damage to a minimum, having plenty of live targets to unleash his agressions on.

To their credit, the Repliforcers aren't entirely throw-away soldiers. Many of them do know the basics of fighting, and they know when to get the hell out of the way of a superior opponent. Roll, duck, and fire. Roll, duck, and fire. Of course, it can only last so long... one of the more intelligent 'forcers spots Enker floating above the scene, and starts firing on the golden Robot Master. ..Okay, maybe not so intelligent.

Medieval Fox follows the sparkly skunk from the ground and jogs into the area. She gets the feeling she's going into this blind... which is partially true because of her lack of information.

Pirate Man smirks as he quickly rolls to the side, he continues to roll as he attempts to stay focused on Dawn, pausing for a few seconds as if to fire once more before he quickly charges and rolls forward in an attempt to collide with his opponent

Metal Man arrives from the Cairo - Commercial District.
Metal Man has arrived.

Pirate Man strikes Dawn with his Rolling Collision attack.

Letting a soft and fustrated sigh trickle from her lips a rather small figure stalks the shadows of an alley way. Her movements are rather slow and forced as pain rips through her body from every moment. Yet Sarah continues without much complaint, trying desperately to avoid as much gumbies as possible. Even injured, the young girl knows this city by heart from living here for years. Letting a grappling hook dig deep into the wall of a building Sarah pushes herself up, scampering desperately up the wall.

Repliforce Cargo Plane [Cow] arrives from the Cairo - Commercial District.
Repliforce Cargo Plane [Cow] has arrived.

Dawn repeats her prior mistake; and this time she charges Pirate Man. She delays a second too long on the attack, and gets mowed down by his rolling. Sent sailing back several feet, she looks more dented up still. Standing, she lets out an angry scream, and slams her fist into the ground. Seismic activity occurs in the immediate area, overturning several Mets...and possibly Pirate Man.
Dawn misses Pirate Man with her Local Quake attack.

The blast that flies up at the golden Elite catches his inversed body in the side of the helmet. His head cocks, gaze slipping from boring a hole into a nearby tower, but otherwise.. Enker remains undisturbed, merely resettling his gaze on his intended target. And yes, he's still floating up above, glowing nicely.

Ether Skunk spots Gemini easily enough, and the arc of her flight takes an immediate turn- dipping down towards the earth, tearing through the air and making a beeline for the augmented Master. Along the way, the skunk whips out her Katana and, with all of the velocity of her near-sonic flight, attempts to bury it in the Master as she shoots past. It's a risky attack- but a safe one, as by the time it comes and goes, she's already shooting off down the street, clear of any immediate counter-attacks. At least.... she -hopes.-
Ether Skunk misses you with her Katana Rend attack.

Pirate Man blinks as he ground starts to shake before quickly moving in an attempt to avoid it, he frowns as a few of the mets nearby are knocked around as he quickly checks his ammo before quickly loading one of his mines into his arm cannon, a smirk crossing his face as he takes carefull aim towards Dawn and fires
Pirate Man misses Dawn with his Homing Mine attack.

Enough of this. Slash Beast's people are putting up a good fight, but one by one they get caught up in the Master assault. Unable to take it anymore, the Major stands up within the dropship. With a resigned sigh, he flexes he claws before stepping out, hurrying down the ramp into the melee.

Knight Man has been fighting off Repliforce gumbies all this time... yeah. No it's not just an excuse because his player stopped paying attention briefly >.> <.< It might be interesting to note that he doesn't kill any of them, just fighting them to the point where they retreat on their own. But if someone else wants to fight him, he won't turn away a challenger.

Gemini Man barely feels the wind of the swordslice, as he stops catching his breath and jumps back to the front of the line just as the Skunk slashes down. Coindicentally, he's missed by the attack. The twins aren't very concerned, as targets are everywhere, and targets are plentiful. ...Well, if you're after us, you're going to have to get our attention a little better than that.

Dawn isn't smirking, but she does start kicking a few overturned Mets at Pirate Man's mine, and even a single Joe at it. The tactic works; mine's intercepted. Then she begins hovering horizontally, as if laying down. And then spiralling, and finally launching at Pirate Man, then boomeranging back for a second attack run on him in the same spiralling-feet manner, to try and compensate for any dodging he might try.
Dawn strikes Pirate Man with her Slamming Kick attack.

Sarah Storm puts her guard down.

Ether Skunk lands with the pitter-patter of skunky feet. "AHA!" she howls. "SUCCESS!" She whirls about and looks around the street, scanning the gutters for severed limbs, rolling heads... her brow furrows. No such luck. She brings her weapon up and looks at it... it's clean- stained not with the blood of her enemies. "Aww, damn," she mutters, before prancing back towards Gemini. "HEY!" she hollars to the unaware Master. "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE DEAD!"

Pirate Man scowls as he is sent flying back, optics focused on Dawn for a few seconds but doesn't attack as he quickly turns on his forcefield, a bubble forming around him as he prepares for her next attack
Pirate Man projects a forcefield around himself.

Dawn stops to look over Pirate Man's defenses. Given her odd tendency to 'bounce off' when attacking such things, she returns to pick up the traffic light she found, and begins spinning with it while floating towards Pirate Man. She's bringing the huge bat, he's a proportionately large ball.
Dawn strikes Pirate Man with her Power Strike attack.
Pirate Man's forcefield withstands the attack.

One Gemini Man still fights off a pair of 'forcer soldiers, while the other, with a sudden burst of speed, moves...only his head. His arm fires another white blast into a line of soldiers while his eyes flicker over toward Ether Skunk. "I am? Well, it didn't take." He smiles at the little Skunk.

Ether Skunk hops up and down. "Impertinent fool!" she howls. "Disrespectful buffoon!" she squeals! "I'll have your- hey.... hey, I KNOW YOU!" Only now recognizing Gemini Man for the first time, she points a wiggling finger at the Master. "AND I STILL DON'T LIKE YOU! WAAAAAAAARRRGH!" Lurching forward, the skunk lets her katana whip forward once more, a rather brash and uncoordinated attack, all things considered- but damn fast, especially as a wave of antigravity catches her sword and propels it forward in a flash.
Ether Skunk strikes you with her Ether Blade for 2 units of damage.

Pirate Man blinks as he is sent flying, optics narrowing as he focuses on Dawn, but doesn't quickly lower his forcefield instead he starts to charge towards his opponent quickly stopping as he sends the Barrier Bubble directly towards the Hunter
Pirate Man lowers his forcefield.
Pirate Man misses Dawn with his Barrier Bubble attack.

Away, in the distance, a small dust cloud slowly rises. Well, that was a while ago. Give it time, it's not a very fast dust cloud. In due time, a log comes barelling out of that dust cloud, and rumbling through the streets.

As the oak runs over a rough patch, Woodsy becomes airborn. Silent Log transforms to his standard form, half a dozen hardhats fly out and land around the Master. Wood Man wields his oversized dinner fork and adjusts his Master Chef hat. "YATTA!"

Repliforce Cargo Plane [Cow] enters the Cairo - Commercial District.
Repliforce Cargo Plane [Cow] has left.

The Repliforcer who had fired on Enker takes a couple more potshots, but loses his nerve. That's one of the Stardroid guys! With a shiver, and a silent thanks that the golden Master hadn't decided to make an example of him, he turns off to find someone else to fire upon.

At nearly the same moment, the Major Slash Beast is peering around the battlefield, his mouth twisted in a snarl as he looks for someone to unleash his anger on. ...And then he spots him. Enker. The bleeding commander. The man who'd ordered the Masters to attack when Repliforce was already concentrated on Europe. Rage overtaking common sense for a minute, the beast's claws light up with a bright purple energy. With a roar of battle, he swipes a claw at the Master. Normally Enker would be out of range, but instead a swath of energy flashes from his claws, whipping through the air towards Saturn's avatar. Hooboy.
Slash Beast strikes Enker with his Twin Slasher attack.

Dawn glides up, up, and over Pirate Man, no longer spinning. His charge fails, and she shouts at him in Japanese, "(Got you!)", then flies back down, trtying to spike the traffic-light into Pirate Man. Hit or miss, the attempt will probably ruin the weapon.
Dawn misses Pirate Man with her Bash attack.

Slash Beast strikes Enker with his Twin Slasher attack."Ow." Gemini Man is cut in the side by the slice from Ether's blade, but he has little reaction to it. With the Skunk already in melee range, he simply reaches out with his mech-fluid-covered left hand, and grabs at her arm as the sword flies toward him, attempting to grab her and pull her back, and at least toss the flighty creature to a place where he can shoot her more easily.

Pirate Man scowls as he jumps forward to dodge the weapon, he runs forward for a few feet as he looks around for something to use for either a weapon or cover, focusing on a pile of crates but doesn't jump behind him as he turns around saying, "Why don't ye stick around for a bit, landlubber.", he then fires off a gravity mine
Pirate Man strikes Dawn with his Gravity Mine attack.
Dawn is temporarily disoriented by Pirate Man's Gravity Mine attack.

Ether Skunk throws herself away from the blow, slinking back at a strangely flexible angle and managing to limbo just under Gemini's attempted catch- it certainly does miss her, and she glides past the Master on a cushion of antigravity, already ready for her next blow. "Nah ah ah!" she chatters. "Not on the first date. I can't say the pendant compliments the armor, though. Not really your color." Her sword is sheathed in a flash, and her hands shoot forward, towards Gemini- and with the motion, a wave of antigravity surges forward, attempting to catch him and hurl him most bodily into the street.
Ether Skunk misses you with her Ether Slam attack.

Ring Redwing flies in upon a southernly wind, reporting in to Slash Beast's order to deploy to Cairo. The place looks a lot different from when she last was here. That was, hmmm lessee way back when Repliforce was watching over Rocket Town during the teleportaion launch of Eurasia into space. Maybe it's all the new merchandise and set up shops. But most likely it is because the area is under attack. Anyways, she keeps her optics open for a particular trouble spot.

Dawn lands after crushing the traffic light into the ground, just into the radius of Pirate's mine-explosion. It has the intended effect, momentary disorientation and heavy G-forces.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "Eeg! Critical damage... Heat, I'd appreciate it if you could... ow... grab that rod for me?"

The twin beams of vertical energy soar through the air; and yet again, the Golden Master who so serenely floats above the pitched battles below makes no move to avoid. They impact with his body, one after the other, eventually sending him spiralling down from the skies. Enker snaps back to reality, and simply raises a hand. A black portal appears in front of him, and he disappears completely. Unfortunately for Slash Beast, he hasn't gone very far. "How truly dishonorable of you, Slash Beast of the Repliforce.." The firm voice calls from directly behind the Repliforce's current field commander. "But then, I've come to expect that from the Repliforce. Prepare yourself!" The Mirror Buster is brought out, as the Elite Commander simply charges forward. As he knees, he launches himself into the air, bringing his spiked kneeguard into use as he attempts to assault his assailant.
Enker strikes Slash Beast with his Rising Knee attack.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ice Man transmits, "ELEC!?! You gonna be okay?"

Wood Man looks about, as the battle carries on without him. Wood lowers his anime battle pose and casually walks towards some of the more gumby populated area and taps the shoulder of a lone repliforce private. "Excuse me, have you ever watched Master Chef?" The soldier begins to headshake as Log swings an upper cut. "No accounting for good taste." He shouts up, "HEY! Any of you that DO watch Master Chef?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "When the gaping... gah... hole in my chest is gone? Maybe... oh... and please refrain from killing that cat I was fighting."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "He's mine. He cut the string to my paddleball..."

Pirate Man chuckles as he focuses on Dawn stepping forward as he aims his arm cannon once more, but just shakes his head as he lowers it, quickly shifting to his claw as he continues towards his opponent ready to slash towards his with the weapon
Pirate Man strikes Dawn with his Hook Clamp attack.

Dawn recovers just in time to...minimize damage somewhat. Rather than being sliced clean open, she coils away enough to just be 'almost' cut in two by the sharp hook. Prying it away, she suddenly rockets into the sky, higher and higher. Probably either planning a helluva hard attack...or more likely running away.
Dawn retreats from the area swiftly, leaving her open to pursuit or parting shots from Enker, and Ring Redwing.

Metal Man is in said trouble spot ripping up several RF gumbies, with a flick of his wrist and his forarm blade. The marine finds his main power conduit in his neck severed. Metal Man stands over the fallen force laughing. "Fool! No of you can hope to beat me!" Metal smirks and says. "DEATH TO ALL THOSE WHO OPOSE WILY!" Metal Man spys the flying forcer and laughs. "So we meet again! It seems you did not take the smart way out and know when to quit!" Metal Man pulls a hand full of gears from sub space and flings them at Rewing to get her attention.
Metal Man misses Ring Redwing with his Gears attack.

Gemini Man dodges the attack with a side-hop, landing on slightly-bent knees, and remaining in an agressive stance after he lands. "Actually, I've found it suits us pretty well," he responds to Ether's taunt, grinningly. "And I'm sure your comrades would agree." At that moment, the second twin finishes off his current opponent, and stops momentarily to survey his work. The orginal favors the mess with a glance, then turns his attentions back to Ether. Leveling his gun-arm at her, he fires a solid red burst.

Curses. He'd heard of Enker's newfound teleportation abilities, but he hadn't expected it to be so...fast. Naturally, teleportation was quick, but...in any case, Slash looks around himself wildly, trying to find that gleam of gold the beringed Elite carries with him. He hears the voice, whipping around with a snarl, he bares his claws, ready to go for the throat. Dishonorable? He was a beast, an animal now. Honor is no part of it, winning is. But no sooner does he turn than Enker's knee catches him sharply in the chest. He grunts, stumbling backward, the spike scraping along his armor. With a roar of anger, Slash Beast glares at Enker. No words come to his lips as his paw balls into a fist. Heaving back, he -strikes- at Enker, trying to slam his powerful fist into the Elite's face. Time to see how good these pendant bearers really are...

Leaning lightly against the railing of the rooftop, Sarah peers down letting her brown eyes focus and adjust to the world below. Her cipher digs into the soft ground as it slowly begins to gather up electricity. Strong electrical currents run up and down the blade, as it slowly powers up. As her grip tightens around the hilt, it immediately bursts with an uncontrollable amount of electricity. Though still suffering from wounds the young ninja peers towards the walking branch, and frowns. Leaning foward she gazes at Wood, studying him carefully before grinning. "Oh come on like anyone watches that show anymore. Get some taste will ya." Her hand reaches into her pocket pulling out a small soft item before she throws it at Wood. If her words didn't get his attention the koosh ball will.
Sarah Storm deactivates her stealth mode.
Sarah Storm strikes Wood Man with her Koosh Ball attack.

Knight Man continues to beat down the puny Repliforce gumbies! Darharhar! Mainly because his alt is still occupied, and he can't juggle scenes too well. So it's background gumbie bashing for Knighty, mwah!

Wilyworm [Quicksilver Earthworm] joins Knight Man in the gumbie-smashing, although doing so in a more unorthodox fashion. Doing its best to avoid knocking over buildings, the construct backs off forces as it heads for drier land, deeper into the streets of the city.

Wood Man continues walking until the words hit his ear. As he stops to listen, the koosh ball bounces off his head. Wood slowly turns and grins. "Ooh, a fiesty one." He motions for his hardhats to scurry off and plunder. Woodsman grips his trident/dinner fork, and leaves start flying around the Master, keeping in orbit as he gathers strength. "Let's dance." (No attack)

Ether Skunk hits the earth, before letting her drop to all fours launch her into an antigrav-boosted pounce. She leaps off the ground and shoots towards Gemini with her customary purple flash, as behind her, the mortar shell erupts against only the charred street. No verbal retort comes- she merely grits her teeth, ducks her head down, wraps her arms around her shoulders, and prepares... for impact! Incoming skunk! Hey, perhaps the sudden headlong charge will serve as enough of a surprise to catch the augmented Master off-guard- not to mention she's always wanted to head-butt someone into a daze. Wham!
Ether Skunk strikes you with her Ether Crush for 12 units of damage.

The incoming fist soars its way towards the all-too-pretty face of the Elite Commander. At the last possible moment, his lips twitch into a smile, and he partially ducks to let the fist slam past his shoulder. The air whimpers in pain. "And to tame the savage beast, we shall send back that which he would attempt to do." Enker intones, before his own golden-backed gauntlet clenches down into a tight fist. Laughing, he slams it back at Slash Beast, attempting to return the favor. Albeit, hopefully striking instead of missing.
Enker misses Slash Beast with his Smash attack.
Slash Beast successfully deflects an attack randomly.

Ring Redwing peers down at Metal Man from her vantage point and groans inwardly, "Oh great, not mister blade for brains again, making trouble for us law-abiding reploids again? Well, I guess there's no helping it." She readies herself for combat, snapping her her wrist-rings forward into her hands, she instead glares down at Metal and lets loose with a pencil-thin line of laser-fire more to let her opponent know that she's acknowledged him. "Well, I'm not too good at tactics so yeah I'm not smart enough to quit. But enough talk, let's do this then."
Ring Redwing puts her guard up.
Ring Redwing strikes Metal Man with her Eye-laser attack.

Gemini Man is actually surprised by the brave attack, and is pushed backward, losing his footing as Ether Skunk charges into him. He awkwardly tumbles back...But that only serves to ignite the hidden anger burning behind his pendant. He growls at the skunk, his eyes flaring up into fire. He seems ready to blindly return the charge... When, suddenly, Ether Skunk is attacked with a shot...from behind.

The Elite Master may be fast. But neither is the 11-foot lion a plodder. His strike missing, Slash doesn't miss a beat. As Enker's fist comes toward him, his free paw flashes up, catching Enker's wrist. Where Enker moved to avoid Slash, Slash moves Enker to avoid him. Pushing up, he also lets the strike slide over his shoulder. With a roar in Enker's delighted face, the Repliforcer lunges forward, jaws ready to clamp down viciously; on Enker's face, his neck, his shoulder, whatever he can get a hold of.
Slash Beast strikes Enker with his Bite attack.

Pirate Man looks around silently as he waits for the ship to get closer before looking around to see who's nearby saying nothing as he takes out a map of the city and studies it for a few seconds

Ether Skunk bounces off of Gemini. Ping! The skunk's rapid flight is knocked off-course, and she spirals off into the air and back down towards the street- her lightning-quick movements carrying her out of range of the shot by mere luck. She manages to right herself before touching down, however, and after only a moment's pause, is ready for the next attack- the skunk is quite fast tht way. But now... there are TWO opponents! Curses. Raising her hands overhead, the skunk begins gathering energy- and in the heat of besieged Egypt, she's quick to rouse a glimmering fireball in both hands. The fireball cuts loose into a blazing beam as she throws her hands forward, sweeping them out, letting the makeshift flamethrower sweep over both Gemini men in turn, hoping to sear at least one in its firey swath.
Ether Skunk misses you with her Incandescent Force attack.

The Elite Commander bursts into laughter as Slash Beast sinks his teeth into Enker's neck. "Oh my, but we've only just met, Slash Beast of the Repliforce! And already, you're putting the moves on me.. Tch.." A hand is raised, and the Elite grabs ahold of Slash Beast's head to tear him backwards. "That's not nice. You should play nice." He's an oddity right now, isn't he? Laughing, carrying on, making all sorts of absurd comments. A sneer appears on Enker's face, of clear disdain; without further word, he slams his helmet forward, attempting to create a meeting of minds in a rather painful sense of the world.
Enker strikes Slash Beast with his Headbutt attack.

Yes Mr blades for brains again. He just will never go away, infact if he died the devil would kick him out of hell. Metal Man is caught off guard as the eye beams catch him in the chest. "Ah, clever girl. It will not save you this time!" Metal Man smirks. "Well at least you are willing to fight! Show me what you got bird girl!" Metal Man leaps up in the air and a pair of blades slip out of his forarms. With lighting movments he slashes out at Ring Rewding.
Metal Man strikes Ring Redwing with his Arm Blades attack.

The small ninja just nods slowly as she removes her a small grappling hook from her bag. The young girl jumps up in the air and lands ever so gently on the railing. Sarah's brown eyes stare straight at Wood before she leaps of the building. Her hand holding the hook slams down into the soft brick wall, forcing her descent to the earth below to be slowed. Yet as she looks up up at Wood that all too common smirk leaves her lips. "Umm, man you are a tall one, aren't you...no matter the bigger they are the harder they fall. I just hope you don't fall on me, big guy." Letting her hand touch the hilt of her cipher the young girl launches force, slashing at the tree.
Sarah Storm misses Wood Man with her Storm Slash attack.

Wood Man grins. "Oh, come on. That's an old one." As Wood arrogantly replies, it's pure instinct alone that causes his fork to push the Storm Slash away from cutting more than a minor line on the tree's chest. As soon as Log realizes the fight's already started, he scowls and swings about the giant silverware in a vain attempt to get some distance.
Wood Man strikes Sarah Storm with his Generic Melee attack.

Not this time. The flames lick against the armor of the Gemini Men, but both of them are unharmed. While the flames still flicker they begin to back away, and circle, like a pair of vultures, and when the attack subsides they stand on opposite sides of Ether Skunk, preparing, silently, to coordinate. One Gemini rushes forward then, preparing to engage the skunk in hand-to-hand, while the other takes a single sidestep to give him room to follow-through on his charge. The attacking Gemini turns his leg around midcharge, and spin-kicks, using his momentum.

Let it be known that Slash Beast has a very hard head. Although the spike on the top of Enker's helmet easily pierces Slash Beast's forehead, tearing up a few minor systems--a human would be dead by now, thank the creator for intelligent design--his head doesn't dent with the impact, nor does it tear beyond the hole Enker pierced. With a howl of pain, the beast's eyes widen as he stares at Enker, loathing and hatred and a desire to kill shining brightly. He reaches up, grasping Enker's head between two large paws, and uses that as leverage to swing his feet up. If this works, his huge hind legs will colling with Enker's torso, forcing the two backwards and apart.
Slash Beast misses Enker with his Power Stomp attack.

Ring Redwing can't block the twin blades in time and gets two brand new chest ornaments. And don't even think about it that way, dirty dirty people with minds in gutters. Needless to say, getting two blades stuck in your chest hurts quite a bit and so the Repliforcer backs off quite a bit. "Alright, you asked for it, metal-head. Eat flaming hoop of doom!" (TM) Reaching for her own projectiles, she remove a large ring that ignites with a fwoosh as she depresses a button on it's rim. Using two hands, she hurls the firey missile at Metal Man.

Ether Skunk glances back and forth. Two sides, two Gemini Men, two attacks... well. One must always remember that a battle with Ether Skunk is in 3D, as she's quick to hunker down and launch into the air- shooting up a good ways, clear of both incoming attacks. As she sails upwards, she reverses her orientation, until she's pointing face-first down at Gemini Men- and coming to an abrupt hover, she throws her hands towards them again. Her antigravity doesn't lashout at the Masters this time... instead seizing the earth and begining to shake it. A mild quiver quickly builds to a slight tremor, and suddenly erupts into a fierce shaking. Earthquake! Shake it, baby, yeah!
Ether Skunk strikes you with her Tremor Force for 13 units of damage.

Not about to let his new play-toy disappear so soon, the Elite Commander raises both hands and simply catches the feet of Slash Beast, nullifying the force driven down into his body with an equal and opposite back. Or something along those lines. Enker releases, taking a quick step back. "You've nothing to say, Slash Beast of the Repliforce? Or has the rage within your mind simply taken control, proving your namesake and removing your ability to be the man you should be..?" Those lips of his twist into a smile of pure malice, before he brings the Mirror Buster up to slide the distance between the two to nil as Enker attempts a thrust.
Enker strikes Slash Beast with his Spear Thrust attack.

Metal Man is on fire tonight both methaporically and for real. Metal Man takes the hit to his left leg as he is flipping midair. The hoop digs into his armor and leaves a melted gash in his lef "You have to have a better name for that move please! I thought you were more creative than that!" Metal Man pulls a sawblade from subspace and flings it at Redwing as he freefalls to the ground.
Metal Man misses Ring Redwing with his Sawblade attack.

Gemini Man loses the concentration of his synchronized attacks when the Earthquake comes rolling beneath him. Both of the twins lose their footing, and fall, tripping onto their faces. Most embarassing for the avatar of War to be beaten by a mere huntress... And it's evident that Gemini Man is displeased. One of the twins raises his head, then kippups, and points a hand toward Ether Skunk, just as the other twin regains footing. "AND NOW, YOU DIE!!!!" shouts the possessed Master. He pulls his gun-arm around, and, glowing with red aura, he pounds it into the air, firing a white and red shot that streaks erratically toward the nimble huntress.

Leaping back as her attack is deflected, Sarah just shrugs ever so slightly and continues to gaze up at the towering giant before her. Her mind seems completely focused as she begins coming up with a plan. It is usually the big ones that always lack the intelligence. Stopping for amoment to dig in her back she pulls out her secret weapon. A weapon that only those brave enough whisper in the darkest of alleys. A small figure known as Pren. Pulling out the pren, Sarah releases it towards the huge tree, not noticing the huge fork coming straight at her. Despite what people think being swat by a huge kitchen fork is not fun at all. Being slammed to the ground, Sarah groans ever so softly before getting back to her feet. "Who would have guessed him to have a fork.." Shaking some sense back into her head the young girl steps forward and hopes desperately that the pren will keep his attention. Letting her hand gripe the hilt tighter then before a massive wave of electricity rips from the blade of the ciper. Swinging it around several times the young girl smacks it to the ground sending electrical currents to errupt in all different directions.

Ring Redwing fehs and sticks her tongue out as the Master's sawblade whizzes past her harmlessly, "Hey, I said I wasn't very smart already! So what if I'm not original, at least I'm more effective than you! Now don't get dizzy, but try my next move on for a spin!" Leaping forward as the Master falls through the air, she moves to meet him with lashes of her red-booted feet in a mid-air multi-kick attack which is quite unoriginally named:

Ether Skunk lets out a most cheerful "BWAAAHAHAHA! LOOKIT THAT! RIGHT ON HIS FACE!" and so on, so forth, on seeing the earthquake trip up Gemini Men. Success! She's starting to wonder just what the big deal with these pendants is... until... until the photon shot comes. And in a flash, Ether finds herself with a few more holes in her body than she's supposed to have. Still hovering in mid-air, she curls back to peek at herself... well, look at that! Her torso has been blown clear open, shredded and wrecked to a nearly useless state. The skunk straightens out with a gulp and promptly wheels around... already mid-air, she shoots off into the distance. Yep, she's retreating, and it rains blood in her wake.

It was perhaps the worst mistake Slash Beast could so willingly make, taking on Enker. Too late for that now, though. One would leave this battleground victorious, the other in pieces. Perhaps Slash Beast might not leave in pieces, but instead hulled to death. With a *gurk!* of pain, Slash Beast catches the spear full in the gut, the long shaft puncturing both his front -and- back. Now -that- did some damage. Reflexively gripping the Mirror Buster, he pauses for a second, internally assessing the damage. Some vital systems...but nothing severely destroyed. With a feral, grinning sneer, he starts forward. Yes, forward. If Enker keeps a firm grip on the spear, Slash Beast would actually move forward, the shaft sliding through his body. He reaches for Enker, mouth opening in a wordless snarl as he attempts to return the favor, his charged claws stabbing towards the Elite Master, seeking to rend and tear that oh-so-pretty armor.

Enker watches in silence as Slash Beast makes his approach, eyebrows raising one after the other to disappear behind the slanted visor that runs its way across the brow of his helm. "My, my.. They certainly don't lack for testicular fortitude in the Repliforce." Intonement made in grave and slightly shocked tones, the Elite Commander makes use of his fantastic leaping abilities to do just that; leap away, leaving the Mirror Buster where it is sticking out of the Repliforcer's body. It's a strange move. The Commander rarely leaves his weapon behind, but then.. he's got something else at the moment, doesn't he? Up in the air and safely away from what would have seriously damaged his body, Enker takes the Ring of Saturn and brandishes it above his head. "It would be but a mere flick of my fingers, Slash Beast of the Repliforce, to let you and everyone else here embrace Infinity's Depths. And yet, you are yourself not quite worthy to witness such, even if it were to herald your own distraction. No, not yet." He does raise his free hand, though, and clicks his fingers. The Mirror Buster, embedded in Slash Beast's body, lets out a burst of energy as it struggles to pull free and return to its Master.
Enker misses Slash Beast with his Mirror Blast attack.

Metal Man laughs. "Sure you are sure are! I will be still alive long after the last reploid dies!" Metal Man man back flips as Redwing launches a spin kick at him and nails him in the back of the head. *THWACK!* Metal Man is dazed for a moment and he stagger. "Cute! YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!" Metal Man snaps his fingers and a number of dagger like drones rip out of the ground below and rocket for Red Wing. "here enjoy my minions!"

Not wasting a -second- in disappointment at Enker's swift retreat, Slash Beast turns from trying to rip Enker apart to trying to get that spear out of him. It really restricts movement, after all. Sliding the thankfully smooth shaft out of his gut as Enker makes his little speech, he tosses the thing on the ground just before it explodes with energy. Testing his wounds, he hunches low, watching Enker from the ground. He can't follow the fast avatar into the air, and he has little except the Twin Slasher to send chase. Instead, he concentrates on defense, huge paws protecting his body, ready to turn aside any blow Enker might send at him. His growling gives way, quite unexpectedly, to a low, guttural taunt. "Do....your...worst..." And with that, he lapses into the mind of a beast again, watching, waiting for his chance to strike.
Slash Beast puts his guard up.

Ring Redwing laughs too as she knocks the drone away from her with one of her wrist rings. "You know what's cuter than exploding drones? A stream of bubbles. I hope your brand of metal is rust-proof or even Dr. Wily's oilcan won't be able to help you!" Withdrawing a medium-sized ring, she holds it out before her with the center aimed in Metal Man's direction. As she depresses a button, soapy bubbles begin forming in the center. With a flap of her wings she sends a steady stream of ring-shaped bubbles in the Master's direction.

Wilyworm [Quicksilver Earthworm] pushes the forces back off the street, then takes a momentary rest from 'her' constant movement. Her laserblasters fall silent.

"Do my worst, he says.. Surely, he does not wish for that. Why, he would be quite.. quite dead, if I were to do my worst. No, no, we shall see what shall be done. The time is now; he does not see it, and yet, it is now, it is present. We move." Enker's prattle tapers off, as the Ring of Saturn is joined by the Mirror Buster. Both weapons held, he smiles down at his target. "Let us see how you enjoy this one." His body flashes, colors inversing, and he becomes a glowing blur as he dives down, putting speed into use as he attempts to come into collision with Slash Beast.
Enker misses Slash Beast with his Charge attack.

The Pren, for those unaware of its existance is but a rather cute and small mechanical mole with red eyes. Instead of nerp like the hard hats, its battle cry is nothing more then Pren! So nerp chicka nerp nerp!
Grin from ear to ear, Sarah giggles happily as the little mole Pren actually amounts to something. See, and everyone so wanted to get rid of it. Yet the girl celebrates a little too early as a massive shadow falls apon her. Blinking several times, Sarah slowly looks up and smiles sheepishly from behind her scarf. Her eyes focus on the fork within his hand before wincing. "This is going to hurt, huh?" She mutters, still too much in pain to dodge. Being thrown backwards and nearly knocked unconcious Sarah once more gets back to her feet, wincing in sudden pain as she does so. Wiping the blood from her brused and cut lip, Sarah puts up her guard and lets her blade gather up more electricity. The blade softly sings in her hands as she weakly presses forward. Alright, lets try this again, shall we. First thing is first...get the hell outta Cairo. Infact don't even look back." The blade raise just abit as she swings it down with sudden speed. The electricity rips from her blade once more sending it straight towards the tree.
Sarah Storm strikes Wood Man with her Storm Shock attack.

Metal Man is barraged with bubbles? Well least it ain't the Bubble Led. That would hurt like a bastage, let me tell you. Metal Man laughs. "Please, that was no bubble! My brother's does more than that!" Metal Man growls and pulls out a twin pair of blades and launches them at Redwing. "Time to clip your wings girl!"

Slowly, the animal's large mouth curves upward in a grin. Laying low, watching the Elite move....he had full knowledge of the instant Enker moves. And he was ready. His claws flaring with energy again, Slash Beast dashes TOWARD Enker as the other charges downwards at him. At the precise moment--Enker was fast, but his movements -could- be tracked--Slash Beast leaps into the air, at an angle, letting the Elite pass by him--but not by his claws. Reaching out, the Repliforcer swipes heavily at the Master, their added velocities proving to give the attack a good dose of power should his blades meet armor.

"Dragon-ball-ZZZZ!" The impact from the claws sends Enker flying, right through a television shop's windows. Most are destroyed, but some continue to prattle on. "Oh gosh, Goku! We can't possible defeat Vegeta! He's too strong!" "But we're gooot to try, Krillin!" The Elite Commander gets back to his feet, brushing off pieces of a multitude of televisions, before he looks down to see the deep gouges in his armor. His gaze narrows, before he looks up to find Slash Beast. "We've got to escape, Goku! We can power up for five months, then come back and finish him!" "We've no time!" The Man with the Golden Gun sighs loudly, before reaching behind him to withdraw something. Small. Handheld. Golden. He raises the Golden Gun, and fires a shot.
Enker misses Slash Beast with his Golden Gun attack.

Wood Man cackles as his fork hits with grimm randomness. "Yep. It sure does hurt, don't it?" He basks in such a fun fight! As his leaves dance about his body, he tries to spin the fork about. "I should have used this earlier. I don't know why I even use the leaves anymore." As the master tries this new move, ending up hitting himself in the face (C'mon, he saw it in a movie, not trained) he remembers that he's still in a fight.
The revelation is too late, as the Storm Shock runs over his body, causing a visible gash in his knotty pine exterior. Wood falls back, leaving a mark in the pavement where his large aft falls. Turns out that saying is right. They forgot the part about 'They attack afterwords,' however.
Log scowls. "Oh yeah. That's right." A grim smile starts. "Well, you look like the nimble type. Here. CATCH!" With that, the previously harmless leaves accelerate the Master, flinging from orbit towards Sarah, death by a thousand cuts.
Wood Man misses Sarah Storm with his Shrapnel Ball attack.

Ring Redwing gets her wings clipped, or at least 1/3 of both her wings get sheared off as the blades slash through the shiny material. Redwing hovers in the air for a few moments more and then plummets earthward with a squeak of dismay. She doesn't move for a few moments, but after a while, she manages to get back up to her feet, armor all bent and rented she's obviously not feeling too good. "Well, I hope that when you go home, Bubble Man will roll you over with a big ball of bubbly lead! Goodbye!" With that, she ignites her jet boosters and rockets away.
Ring Redwing retreats from the area swiftly, leaving her open to pursuit or parting shots from Enker.
Ring Redwing enters the Cairo - Bazaar District.
Ring Redwing has left.

Slash Beast lands as neatly as a cat, tucking and rolling, and coming up to face Enker. Yes. That sound of Enker flying into a store was -quite- satisfactory. Never mind property damage--he was here to -kill-, now. He charges forward, his heavy feet thudding against the ground, racing toward Enker. He cannot let the other regain footing for long. ...See? Give them a chance, and they pull a weapon on you. It looks a simple weapon, though, and as Enker takes aim and fires, the beast dives forward feet first, sliding underneath the shot and the rest of the way to Enker. With a roar of triumph, his glaring claws stab up, attempting to pierce Enker's torso armor, pierce deep, and cause some real damage to the Master's internals. If it strikes. The Master was fast. Very fast.
Slash Beast misses Enker with his Evisceration attack.

His shot misses. Enker blinks in momentary disbelief; the Golden Gun shouldn't /miss/! Discarding his weapon back into the void, the Elite Commander slides forward in kind as the Repliforcer makes his approach. "Sorry boy, but.. you bother me." The television in the background continues to shout out a variety of grunts, groans and punches as the show continues. In reality, the Elite Commander lets the Ring of Saturn fade out to once again encircle his body. A small smile crosses his face; Slash Beast's attack is knocked aside by the Mirror Buster, which is then spun about -- and the Elite with it -- in an attempt to drive it squarely home into Slash Beast's body once again.
Enker misses Slash Beast with his Impale attack.

Sarah Storm raises a single brow as she watches Woody hit himself in the head. Umm, that can't be right, can it? "Should I even ask why you are doing that?" She mutters before snapping back into full concentration. Letting her cipher die down enough for the young girl can handle, Sarah's focus falls onto the giant's leaves. Watching it closely a thin frown forms. It would seem that too would no doubt hurt. Pulling a single item from her belt, Sarah tosses it to the ground. The group immediately errupts in a cloud of smoke and when it finally fades away there is nothing. The young girl is not even present. But where exactly can she be? Oddly enough the young girl is right behind the log, trying to get her foot hold on the RM so she can scale up to his shoulder.
Sarah Storm strikes Wood Man with her Grasp attack.

Wood Man laughs heartily as his leaves fly and... miss. As Woodsman stops laughing, he sees his leaves flying into smoke, nothing else. "Hey? Where'd you go? Stand still so I can pound you good..." It is only then that Log notices a weight on his back as Storm practices tree-climbing. "Hey, what are you doing? Get off!" He flails his arms about.
Wood Man misses Sarah Storm with his Punch attack.
Slash Beast puts his guard down.

Ground. On the ground. Not on the feet. Dangerous. Get out. Out of the way. -Now-. Slash Beast dives to one side, the powerful spear just barely missing him by centimeters. He springs to his feet on Enker's side and laughs, a deep, rich sound. Here we was, the mighty Enker turned powerSaturn, and Slash Beast was holding his own. He might come out alive yet. As he brings his claws up, he intends to make sure Enker doesn't do the same. He lunges forward, his energy-laden claws swiping at the golden Master in quick succession. One slash...two...three..four..five, sixseveneight!

Sarah Storm clings tightly to the tree, refusing to let go. Her hand still strays however towards her cipher, hoping to give Woody a horrible shock if he dares to try to reach back to get her. Muttering to herself Sarah continues to scale up looking for a place to dig into with her blade. However she does find it hard with Wood Man moving and missing the mark is a possibility if anything.

Pallbearer arrives from the Cairo - Commercial District.
Pallbearer has arrived.

Those deadly slashes simply eat away at Enker's body. He's driven back, the Mirror Buster knocked to the side and out of his grasp. Again and again and again, the blades sink down, eating into his precious armor, his shiney armor; marring, scratching, gouging, destroying. He's driven back, and back, and back, until finally he stumbles free. Bleeding openly and from numerous spots, he falls to his knees, panting heavily. ".. Uh... ugh..." He manages, before he simply vanishes.
Yet he is not gone, certainly not. He reappears, slouched over, up in the skies above. Enker turns his gaze down onto Slash Beast, barely left standing -- or floating, in this case. "You.. You would.. dare..? So.. So be it.. INFINITY SHALL BE YOUR PLACE!" The Ring of Saturn leaves, reappearing to encircle Slash Beast instead. Its interior turns black, as black as night itself, as depthless as the gaze that the Elite Commander himself holds. The Black Hole. Can you feel the suck?
Enker misses Slash Beast with his Black Hole attack.

Pallbearer rushes out of an alleyway as several MSE and support troops arrive nearby, starting to look for wounded for evac purposes. "Move it!" the medic yells, scanning the area. "Get a fix on the wounded troops, I want them secured and evaced yesterday! Go, go, go!"

Wood Man arrrghs, as his hands don't find his foe, and the blade thrust into his back. "Okay, NOW I'M MAD!" We all knew Woodsy was not sane, but now he's mad. With that, the second move to do when someone's scrambling you is to hit yourself, and hope it hurts them more than you. Wood starts running backwards, aiming for a wall to crush Sarah with.
Wood Man strikes Sarah Storm with his Ram attack.

Ballade arrives from the Cairo - Bazaar District.
Ballade has arrived.

Slash Beast leers, teeth showing in a mirthless grin as his slows strike home, tearing Enker's armor like so much cloth. He hops backwards as his tirade ends, watching for another attack. But Enker seems to be too hurt...and then he vanishes. Warily, Slash Beast peers around, sniffing the air. Where did he- ah. He glowers at the Master in the air, preparing another Twin Slash. He doesn't have time to throw it, however, for that ominous ring, the source of Enker's power, appears around him. And the Black Hole sucks him down.
But if Ash from Housewares can save himself from the depths of a Necronomicon trap, why can't Slash Beast from SpecOps? The instant before he is sucked away into infinity, he lashes out, grabbing the edge of the ring with both forepaws. He is hurt, but he is no less strong for that. The massive beast summons all of his strength, keeping himself from falling into that Black Hole...and slowly...every so slowly...he pulls himself out. Out. Inch by inch, further away, further out...until the Repliforcer collapses on the ground beside the ring, hopefully out of its pull. He groans, his tough body stretched to the limit. Knocking the ring away, he stands slowly, keeping out of the deadly ring of Saturn's range. With a murderous glare for Enker, he flings the Twin Slasher blades the Elite's way. Cursed Masters. Cursed Stardroids. As long as he is conscious, he will survive.

Wood Man smiles smugly as he pins Storm against the wall. "Let you go?" Log starts rubbing his back against the wall like a cat would. Things change when Storm begins pounding, and her punch fractures his that little twig thingybopper on his head. His overly confident smile fades quickly as the useless but nonetheless important bit of fake pine falls. "You hurt me!" A grimace, a quick roll, and Woodsy's form blurs a bit as he demonstrates his log form, rolling quickly. Either Storm flies off, is able to stay on top, or is crushed under his spinning weight.
Wood Man changes into his Log armor.
Wood Man misses Sarah Storm with his Log Roll attack.
Slash Beast misses Enker with his Twin Slasher attack.

Sarah Storm somehow manages to make it up to Woody's shoudler. Pulling herself up she scrambles slightly up letting her feet dangle just abit. But of course that is when the log decides to run backwards slamming in the wall. Wincing in pain as her feet are caught between Woody's huge body and the wall Sarah starts pounding at the log. "Let me go! You are squishing me! Let go I say!"
Sarah Storm strikes Wood Man with her Punch attack.

The twin slashes simply meet nothing as Enker disappears from view completely. He laughs, laughter which echoes out across the area, laughter of someone who is clearly starting to lose their mind. "This does not matter. There is no matter to this. I have seen this before.. You are not worth my time." The words, whispered on a breeze, meet Slash Beast. The Elite Commander is gone.
Enker retreats from the area swiftly, outdistancing all pursuit and parting shots.

Enker has left.

Wilyworm [Quicksilver Earthworm] suddenly, starts up her hoverengines again, and regains power, seemingly heading for deeper ingo the city.

Sarah Storm winces and cries out in pain as she gets rubbed up against the wall. Yet it all stops as the world around comes crumbling down. Blinking at nerviously the little ninja finds herself falling back towards the ground. Alright, this is getting way too familar...infact falling was the thing that put her in the hospital last time. Letting her hand grab for a grappling hook she tossing it up on the side of the roof and clings from a rope. Scurrying down it once more, the young girl pulls out her cipher and lets it charge up. All around her electricity flickers and forms. "So you don't like being hacked up huh? Fine, try this out."
Sarah Storm strikes Wood Man with her Storm Cipher attack.

As the words reach Slash Beast's ear, he drops to his knees, regaining his strength. That took more out of him than he thought...but as he looks up...the Elite has left. Smiling grimly, more of Slash Beast's self returns, and he murmurs, "You may leave with your dignity. As long as you leave..."

And from behind Slash Beast, something... steps out of the background. His body shifting slowly from clear to non-transparent... Ballade fades out of the background. "I think you fail to understand. You will be leaving now. The City is ours - your forces flee. Leave, or face Death."

Cairo - Rocket Town

This area of Cairo is on the extreme outskirts of the city, connecting to the rest by a lengthy magrail train that runs to the telestation. Just as the buildings of Cairo tower to the northeast, here a different set of structures loom up to the sky. The site of the United Nations Space Agency (UNSA), Gus Grissom Memorial Field, has been popularly named Rocket Town, after the forest of launching gantries and storage bunkers. Since Cape Canavral was transformed into a museum site, Rocket Town has been the global center of space exploration. Among all of the housings for space shuttles, booster rockets, and fuel, there are a few buildings set aside for the adminstration of the UNSA, and to coordinate the ground side of the great journey into the final frontier.

Gemini Man rushes in down the street, alone, leaving one twin behind in a mess of the destruction elsewhere, taking himself to charge ahead, looking to damage what needs damage, destroy what needs destroyed. Responding to Ice's request for help, his eyes flicker toward the downed Master, and he looks at him, then his opponent. He's dented and scratched, but the glare he gives Blaze is clear...time to back off now.

Blaze Dalmatian puts down Ice Man, yay. Now she starts to back off, since there isn't much left for her..

Ice Man runs like the parka-less efkimo he is! Well, more like runs in a lop sided manner. His left leg is damaged and has developed a slight limp. And away he goes!

Chill Snowcat is still dancing over his victory from Elec man. "I won I won I won! YAY! We shoudl all go and celebrate! Let's dance! ALRIGHT!"

Ow. Balto is hit, and falls on his duff. Oh, yeah. Duff Man! The stallion stands, his torso plating quite horribly mangled. "You are well trained, Yamato Man. Quite the worthy foe." Slowly, not just his sword, but his entire body crackles. After a few seconds, the Silver Stallion is simply swimming in electricity. He points the tip of his sword at Yamato. "You have torn asunder the peaceful Order of this land. Chaos demands Chaos, and I am but a servant of Order." Innit fun how he can capitalize words with his voice? "My sin in this act will be cleansed, for it is in the path of righteousness, and you... you are simply in MY path." With that, lightning arcs from his body, tearing into concrete, hitting metal signposts, and generally moving towards the Silent Samurai. "Fear the wrath of Order, Chaotic One! For it is a tempest of might! A hurricane of right! A flood to wash sin away!"
Silver Stallion strikes Yamato Man with his Heavenly Thunder attack.

Yamato the Stampede is good. One of the best, indeed, some have said, comparing him to the likes of Enker or Zero. He's done a lot of things that people said were impossible, driven by the sheer strength of his convictions.
It is hard, though, to outrun lightning.
As the samurai prepares for some sort of attack, the lightning sears out and smites him -- crackling over him in a haze of sparks and light. His wound is enflamed as his armor develops heat-related cracks, the energy going to ground right through him. The pain is searing, blinding -- it's hard to keep from crying out.
But when the lightning finishes, the samurai is still standing. Blackened, enflamed, still a danger to himself and others. He lowers his center of gravity, looking back across the battlefield at the "paladin" -- indeed, Yamato sees /himself/ as a paladin, and this equine as a dangerous pretender.
Then, as his dash jets roar to life, he streaks at the horse in a blur of afterimages and fire, holding his spear like a pike. It's not time for the final dance, yet ... he is not driven to the height of rage needed to punch a hole straight through the horse. He will, however, show him his dedication. He charges in a suicide strike, looking to make his mark once more.
It's the beginning of the end.
Yamato Man strikes Silver Stallion with his Kamikaze Charge attack.

Blaze Dalmatian enters the Cairo - Southern Outskirts.
Blaze Dalmatian has left.

Crystal Man has arrived.

Crystal Man walks away from the site where he and Hailstorm Couatl fought, though he quickly picks up his pace -- away from the site of the battle. From a glance at him, it's easy to see why; the crystal conjurer's armore is covered in frost and riddled in fractures, seeing ready to crumble at any moment.

Silver Stallion is tapped. He steps back, shakily, his systems still cooling from the attack. He decides to discharge the remaining energy. The very air around him shimmers with distortions as the heat is shunted out of his body, and into the area around him. In fact, his silver armor, due in part to the heat, oxidizes, turning a sooty, almost shiny black.
Silver Stallion misses Yamato Man with his Holy Fire attack.
Yamato Man deflects Holy Fire from Silver Stallion.

Hailstorm Couatl is frozen in crystal. Frozen. In. Crystal.

Gemini Man still looks across the arena, half-protecting Ice Man, but, more importantly, the other half of him, the pendant half, looking for something to smash. Seeing Chill Snowcat still agressive--and any reploid, any target, will do--the single twin preps his weapon, and begins to decorate the area with streams of white blasterfire, bouncing off the ground up in Chill's direction.

Ice Man has left.

The samurai accomplishes what he needs to; he gets in close to Silver and strikes against him, his minimal speed only managing to jostle the giant Reploid. He gets in close, bracing down -- and rolls underneath the equine as the blast of fire strikes down. He swats a thermal bloom around himself instinctively, scattering the fire away.
In the cloud of smoke and confusion, the samurai strikes. He knots his hands into the `rising phoenix' formation on his spear, tensing his body -- and throws himself up, using all of his strength, power and speed to drive one massive, final blow into the equine's midsection. If it hits, this fight's over. If not -- it's going to get interesting.
Yamato Man strikes Silver Stallion with his Spear Impale attack.
Yamato Man puts his guard down.

Chill Snowcat GAHS! as gunfire suddenly appears near him, "What the hail!" He looks around for the cause of his surprise, "Hey who the hail are you? That was snow fun! You should learn to chill!" Yes he's a bit full up on himself at this point. Shoulders humming he takes aim and fires a return blast of white, "CATCH!"
Chill Snowcat strikes you with his Hailstone for 5 units of damage.

Hailstorm Couatl, meanwhile, is entrapped in Crystal, adorning the streets.

Silver Stallion is hit! Yeaaaaaaaargh! He goes flying through a brick wall, masonry crumbling! Limbs torn from his body, armor shorn off, metal fused... aye, that's the rub.
Or not. Balto is just knocked off his feet. Wowzers. Did that ever hurt. Anyway. He's very badly damaged now. He starts to crawl away. "I... I yield..." He crawls toward the Falconis. "Th-the day is... yours..."
Silver Stallion retreats from the area swiftly, leaving him open to pursuit or parting shots from Hailstorm Couatl.

And the one who trapped Hailstorm? He's managed to coax himself into a run. There simply isn't any way the mystic could take on another foe after that rather heated... or unheated... battle with the dragonlike Repliforcer. Thus, his next task is to find a place to hide...
Crystal Man retreats from the area swiftly, leaving him open to pursuit or parting shots from Yamato Man, Chill Snowcat, Silver Stallion, Hailstorm Couatl, and Gemini Man.

Gemini Man is slammed by the puncturing ice, denting his armor further. He puts his single, mech-fluid-covered hand up to cover his face, and another hailstone slams into it before the storm subsides. He drops his hand, and looks at Chill almost hungrily. ...Yes, this might work out to his advantage then. Prey. He lifts up his blaster, and a red light glows at the tip, then, he fires a strange, erratic red burst. "How dare... you ask... who I am...?"

The samurai's spear is drawn out of Silver as he tosses him up, the weapon drenched in Silver's mech-fluids. He stands fast as Silver yields, allowing him to withdraw without complaint. Once he's on his way, the slightly injured samurai continues onward, returning to his gumbie-fighting ways.

Chill Snowcat snarls as he feels energy draining from him. He lowers his head a little and tries to shake off the effect of the attack, "JERK! I'm gonna shove something where you dont' want it if you dont' surrender now...Never mind, I'm gonna do it anywway!" HE focuses as his tail comes up, "See if you like this!" The light at the tip of his tail flashes as a projectile comes out heading for Gemini.
Chill Snowcat misses you with his Ice Missile attack.

Silver Stallion lays by the open, slightly banged-up Falconis. It hurrrrts.

Gemini Man licks his very thin lips as the energy soaks into his body. Ignoring the warning thrown at him from the snowcat, he almost ignores the projectile, until it is right in front of him. Then, he leaps up into the air with a sudden burst of speed, and jumps, ON to the icicle, and kicks off, changing its course and diving toward the cat with a flying kick.

Data Mantis arrives from the Cairo - Southern Outskirts.
Data Mantis has arrived.
Data Mantis activates his stealth mode.

Data Mantis high up and stealthed. on his way to retrieve the wounded and whatnot, landing softly next to the Falconis and scanning for the beacon. and slowly sliding the large suit over to the wounded forcer

The samurai, slightly blackened and with a wound in his helm, presses onward into the rocket center. By now, the majority of the Robot Master assault has left it softened up enough for even the injured samurai to clear out the defenses. The gumbies begin to retreat rather than oppose him; the few that remain behind explode in a series of aggressive katas as he proceeds onward.

Chill Snowcat manages to not get hit by the attack as he blinks from the scene and suddenly appears to another side, "I dont' think so! I ain't gonna let such an obvious idiot get the best of me...NO WAY!" He snorts loudly and warms up his shoulder cannons to send a blast of COLD directly at Gemini, "FREEZE!"
Chill Snowcat strikes you with his Freeze for 0 units of damage.
Gemini Man is temporarily disoriented by Chill Snowcat's Freeze attack.

"If I HEAR, ONE MORE, ICE-RELATED PUN...." And then Gemini Man is cut short, as the iceblast streams into his eyes and face, blinding and stunning him.

Data Mantis crouches down, scooping up the wounded Paladin type and tromping up the Falconis' ramp, carefully setting down the Paladin down inside the ship and clicking into his radio as the stealthed mantis returns to the outside, beginning to seek out the rest of the wounded.

Hailstorm Couatl would be trying to crawl away if he could move, but he can't. Oh well.

Chill Snowcat suddenly runs in now that the guy is frozen, "I'm sorry for the cold reception my friend, but it seems that pain is the name of this game." He rars! and pulls a dagger which he attempts to imbed into Gemini, "No pain no gain? Damn I'm cool!"
Chill Snowcat strikes you with his Icicle Blade for 7 units of damage.

Data Mantis starts stalking through the wreckage of the fight, hunting for the wounded forcers still in the area. Hooray. there are several small drones flanking the bugsuit, mainly zipping about under small crevices and such.

Gemini Man makes a grunting sound as the blade is driven into his gut, and he winces, closing his eyes. When he opens them again, they are a flat red. "I thought I said, no more PUNS." He reaches his hand up, and puts it right on the chilled blade of the embedded weapon, ignoring pain. Then, he flips his hand over, and even as the ice dagger cuts a path out of his synthskin stomach, he turns it about, and flings it right back at its creator.

Chill Snowcat blinks again out of the way of the returning weapon, "Hey! I paid postage! WHy're ya returnin ta sender?" THe feline is grinning fiercely now as his shoulder blasters begin to HUMMMMMM loudly, "Ever see those cartoons where the ice machine freaks out? If not...here's a demonstration." Now the feline turns and makes sure that ONLY Gemini is before him. The reason? Well there's about a million of them....literally. A storm of hail suddenly launches from him.
Chill Snowcat misses you with his Hailblaster attack.

The samurai marches onward, moving through the rocket center -- he secures the perimeter and then starts going building by building, chasing off or slaughtering any resistance. He marks each secured zone by scoring the doors with his blade, leaving the mark of Wily on each controlled zone. His progress is slow and steady -- and by now, most of the center has been evacuated, which makes matters less complicated.

Data Mantis blinks inside the suit as his drones beep, and leaps over a bit of wreckage and lands near the crystalized Snakeybird. sighing, the mantis starts clearing away wreckage, and then attaches his stock of hoverdrones to the big hunk of rock, then starts pushing it back towards the dropship.

Hailstorm Couatl is carted into the Falconis. Joy.
Hailstorm Couatl has left.

Gemini Man hits the deck as the ice storm comes flailing by, and it passes above him. He lies on the ground momentarily, but, when the chill winds stop whipping by, he rises to his feet again, and shakes off the attack, and the slight ice crystals that have built up on his already-crystalline helmet. "Ever see those cartoons where the little CAT is completely eviscerated by a blast of searing heat and plasma energy? No...?" His gun-arm starts to hum, and he raises it... "Well, bit of a non-sequitir, but, you started it."
You strike Chill Snowcat with your Gemini Cannon attack.

Chill Snowcat finds the sudden blasting with the cannon a bit more painful then he expected. The cat cries out and finds himself blasted flat to the ground. "Next time...." His response is rather weak and he struggles to his feet.
Chill Snowcat manages to smile, "Hey....its all -COOL!-" Pun-nishment out of the way, he disappears.
Chill Snowcat blinks to another location.
Chill Snowcat has left.

Gemini Man shouts, "BAH!" as the cat disappears. He was looking forward to finishing that irrtation off... Suddenly, his attention drifts elsewhere, as if his optics merely track movement, and he looses interest in the feline entirely.

Cairo - Downtown

Unlike other cities of its size, Cairo has avoiding succumbing to the urge to build up into the sky. The vastness of the Egyptian desert gives the city ample room to expand outwards, and real estate is comparatively cheap. Or it could be that most buildings over fifteen stories tall have a tendency to sink partially into the sand. Whatever the cause, Cairo has maintained much of its ancient charm with buildings built of clay standing alongside the most recent polymer-alloy combinations. Here at the heart of the city, the equitorial heat beats down on the countless heads of humans and reploids from everwhere around the world. A few taller buildings, though they could barely be called skyscrapers compared to the almost impossibly high buildings in other major cities, are scattered around the district, while business people, some in traditional garb, weave in and out of mom-and-pop restaurants and kiosks selling datadisks of the most recent newspapers and magazines. The bustle around here only slows down in the deepest hours of the night, and even then the area is host to a different and less savory troupe of business people. Carefully kept sections of park area, irrigated with desalinized ocean water, dot the downtown area with everything from pecan trees imported from the west to fig trees, though most of the plants are protected by safety fields. [Radio: (A) Masters] Ice Man transmits, "Cool!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "We... RULE!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Technically Dad rules, actually."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Pirate Man transmits, "I have a spare flag we can raise above the city if Ballade be too busy to do the honors."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "You know what I mean! Dad rules, and we're awesome!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man plays an old song over the radio. Magnet would recognize it as the Final Fantasy victory fanfare.

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man mutters, "He had nothing to do with it, this time..."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Magnet Man transmits, "*Curiously, a music theme begins to play in the background. It's... the old Final Fantasy victory march. Wicked.*"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ballade transmits, "Raise the flash, Pirate Man."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ballade plays the Shin-Ra March from FF 7.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Magnet...oh..no.....it's started again! It's STARTED AGAIN! *plays the Heatman-XFG stage music remix*"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Zeta CO Yamato Man transmits, "You are all very noisy."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "What is that awful sound hitting my injured ears.."

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man transmits, "WILL YOU ALL JUST KNOCK OFF THAT RACKET?!!!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Magnet Man abruptly stops the ditty. "It's.. appropriate. Um. Sorry."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man grumbles. No-one appreciates the subtle humor. Or the clowns. Can't sleep, clowns will eat me.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "But it's fun!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Theta Squad Taskmaster, Sword Man transmits, "Agreed. Decide on one victory march and be done with it."

Pirate Man smirks as he heads over to the flag pole saying, "Ah beautiful.", he looks to the others saying, "Which of these would ye prefer brothers, the Wily Roger or our traditional flag.", he turns towards the ship as a pair of flags are brought in

Heat Man smiles to Pirate. "I think the Traditional with the Roger beneath it sounds good to me, don't you?"

Sword Man says, "The traditional shall do fine."

Pirate Man nods to the pair before saying, "Ofcourse the traditional first, Mr. Black.", one of the Joes walks over before the Master Corsair carefully attaches the flag, he raises a bit before the second Joe moves over and he follows the same with the Wily Roger, "Now this looks like it was taken over by us. Now to raise it high.", a smirk crosses his face as he pulls on the rope raising both the flags high

[Global News Network] *Staticky* This is Hussain Bandukwhala, Cairo National News....we don't even know if this is going out of the capital on this signal...but we figured the world needed to see this. *In a strangely solemn ceremony, a pair of Corsair joes remove the flag of Egypt, letting it fall to the ground. Then, as Heat Man, Sword Man, and Pirate Man look on, the flag of Wily, and below it Pirate's Wily Roger, are raised, snapping out into the wind.* Cairo is officially under the control of the Robot Masters. May God who is benevolent and merciful deliver us. Allah Ahkbar.

Heat Man blinks. "You know...I don't feel so good...." Then, mechfluid begins to spill from the large gash in his side.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Oh. Damn. I guess that bleeding hadn't stopped, after all...."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ice Man transmits, "You alright Heat?"

Sword Man jumps back as he is nearly sprayed with mechfluid seeping from Heat's reopening would. "Blast! Brother Dust will need to examine you, Brother Heat..."

Pirate Man moves to help stabilize Heat saying, "Let me help you there brother, it be time for you to return to the base I believe. We won this day, but who knows what may happen tomorrow. Mr. Smee, Mr. Christopher!", the two mets move over to him as he says, "Keep the crew ready, we may not be looting this town for now. But prepare for a small celebration when the others are repaired."

Heat Man's eyes unfocus, and nods slightly. "Tired all of the sudden. Really tired..."

Wilyworm [Quicksilver Earthworm] watches this all, very seemingly curious.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Just lemme rest...god...I'm tired....I just wanna sleep, okay?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "Let him sleep.. Yes, sleep.. Eternal sleep.."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker begins to laugh maniacally.

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man laughs. Because Enker is laughing. Because it's funny.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Epsilon CO Crystal Man snaps, "Brothers!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Theta Squad Taskmaster, Sword Man transmits, "Eternal heavens......."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Magnet Man laughs? Sort of.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ice Man transmits, "Enker, Gemini? You two are scaring me."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ballade does not laugh. "Death? Heat Man - you cannot journey the far shores now. Take the aid offered."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Magnet Man transmits, "Eh-heh. Um. Something's, uh, funny?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man transmits, "Victory. Victory...is good."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "I think they're snapping."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "I'm so tired...we won...but I'm so tired...."

Sword Man feels strangely uneasy at the moment...... "Brothers....." He glances as Gemini laughs as well. "This does not bode well..."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Epsilon CO Crystal Man transmits, "Heat, where are you precisely?!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Cairo...I think? Yeah. I'm still in Cairo."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Theta Squad Taskmaster, Sword Man transmits, "Brother Crys. We are in the Downtown area near Capital Square!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Epsilon CO Crystal Man transmits, "Thank you, Sword!"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "You guys need a pickup??"

Crystal Man arrives from the Cairo - Cultural District.
Crystal Man has arrived.

Dust Man arrives from the Cairo - Cultural District.
Dust Man has arrived.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "Things should be fine here. Dust Man, deploy to the city to give on-sight repairs. We must begin repairing what was destroyed tonight."

Pirate Man is silent as he looks to Heat saying, "This be not the time to sleep brother. Time to stay active."

[Radio: (A) Masters] RM #30 Dust Man transmits, "Already in route."

Dust Man rushes into the area, pinpointing Heat's location following the beacon. "HEAT! YOU CAN'T SLEEP YET!" is Dusty's cry far and wide.

Crystal Man comes running into the downtown area, finding strength that some might say he shouldn't have after such a heated battle. Quickly, the mystic looks around once he reaches Capital Square, gravity-jetting over once he spots his kin...

Sword Man says, "Stay up, Brother. For our sake and Father's sake, stay awake........"

Ice Man arrives from the Cairo - Cultural District.
Ice Man has arrived.

Ice Man wanders into the area. He's a good deal better off now that he's been patched up. Not at peak yet, but he can still patrol and order around joes if needed.

(Incidentally, Crys isn't in great shape. His armor's frosted over and riddled with severe cracks, looking like his armor would shatter at the slightest jolt.)

Heat Man is looking blearily at his brothers as mechfluid and reactor coolant continues to pool out of his wound. "I...can't? You sure...?" His eyes are very bleary, the bright green optics dulled, as he fights to keep his eyes open. "I have to? It's...so hard..."

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man transmits, "Hey. ...It's today. It's TWO--TWO."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Theta Squad Taskmaster, Sword Man transmits, "And what significance is that of the moment, SIR Gemini?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "I believe he's merely pointing out that the day and month are the same at present, numerically speaking."

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man transmits, "It's our lucky number. Twice. Which is twice as good. ....Good day to win."

Crystal Man walks over quickly once he's too close to safely dash-jet over, then kneels next to Heat Man, moving to help prop him up more with his left hand in hopes of forcing him to stay awake. Meanwhile, the mystic pulls a towel from subspace with his right. "Brother..."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Wood Man transmits, "Nnnnngh. Have we cleared the area yet?"

Dust Man rushes up to Heat. "Okay, brother, just hold on." Five Janes rush in behind Dusty and start stabilizing him. The Ducted One gets to work reviving Heat, by means of ending the SCRAM on his reactor, and reapiring the computer control systems of the containment.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ballade transmits, "The last transport is leaving. Cairo is ours."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Wood Man transmits, "Thank Wily. Ooof. I think I need an ice pack and some good schlitz over here."

Sword Man places a hand on his brothers shoulder, a worried look on his face very visable. "Brother......" He scans over his other brothers, especially Gemini, who seems cold and aloof over the whole ordeal.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Zeta CO Yamato Man transmits, "The rocket center is occupied. Drones have occupied it. It is ready for Lord Wily's inspection."

Heat Man is pretty obvious when his chest armor is opened by one of the Janes. One of Spiral Pegasus' feathers was lodged in his chest, and the bladed projectile has been literally sawing it's way through his systems since, and now rests perilously close to the power to his neural net. His armor was the only thing trapping the bleeding from coming out earlier, and when it is removed it literally gushes out acrost the cobbles of the square in black, red, and dark blue. Trying to look at everyone, Heat seems to lurch forward when the weight of his armor goes away, and barely corrects himself in time.

Gemini Man surveys the area. He takes a glance up at the idle worm, and offers her the simple instructions: "Go home. You're done." The worm then rumbles to life, and begins her exit, simply digging into the ground and making a clean tunnel in her wake.

Crystal Man doesn't shudder when Heat Man's mechfluid splashes onto his legs, as much as it pains him to see his closest brother in such pain. Instead, he simply puts the towel away -- Dust Man, it seems, made even greater haste than he -- and just tries to hold a hand, or clutch a shoulder, or maintain *some* form of contact without getting in the way...

Ice Man wanders over, a bit scratched up, but otherwise ok. "Booyaka brothers." There is a small smile on his face. "Anything I can help with?" He offers.

Gemini Man simply stands back, arms crossed, watching, quietly.

Sword Man cringes as mechfluid spills out of his brother as Dust removes his armor. Replacing his hand on Heat's shoulder, he gives a concerned look to the others, especiall Dust and Crystal. He remains silent, however, not sure what to say at the moment....

Heat Man still can't really focus, though he feels the hands both on and inside him. Weird. "Ha....you know that tickles in there....is it really s'possed to do that?"

Yamato Man arrives from the Cairo - Commercial District.
Yamato Man has arrived.

Gemini Man watches this all with increasing interest, eyes flickering...he chews a little on his top lip.

The samurai Yamato marches in from the direction of the rocket center, having utterly secured the site. Drones have already infested it and have begun mending the automated defenses, turning them to the use of Dr. Wily.
The samurai himself is blackened from electrical burns, and has a stab wound in his helm. However, he still walks easily, and sees mostly unharmed. Still ... he could probably use some attention.

Pirate Man turns away from the others as they work, quickly followed by the two mets, he silently looks back to Heat for a few seconds before heading into the Dreadskull
Pirate Man has left.

Gemini Man wrenches his eyes away from the sight, and simply walks away.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Theta Squad Taskmaster, Sword Man transmits, "Apologies, Brother Elec. Brother Heat is down and in serious condition. Apparently, an enemy projectile lodged itself inside his armor and did continued damage."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "Whoa..."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "You guys need some help?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man transmits, "They're fine."

City of Cairo Sat Feb 02 News Report

The Global News issued this announcement very early this morning... "People of the world. From the home office in Cairo, Egypt, we are stunned to bring you this emergency news flash. As part of a devistating series of attacks last night, Robot Master forces, lead by the now-enhanced and highly dangerous commander Enker, invaded the city of Cairo. When local enforcement was helpless to respond, Repliforce and Maverick Hunter forces also failed to defend the city." Images of the Wily flag, and the Wily Roger, being flown over the downtown square in Cairo. "That means that as of today, the city of Cairo has been overrun, and is now under the control of Dr. Wily and the Robot Master forces. We take you live now, via satellite, to the scene of the attack, where outside of Cairo's 'Rocket Town' our correspondents are standing by..."

Some fuzz, some fizzle, and, no, that's no correspondent, that's Gemini Man, covered in dents and Repliforcer mechfluid, staring right into the camera. "Hello, world. Just an announcement from me on behalf of the Robot Masters. As of today, it's TWO--TWO, and whatever podunk holiday you celebrate, to ME that just means it's a great day for a victory. So here's to Cairo! Here's to Egypt! A future Master WORLD Domination... and six more weeks... of NUCLEAR... WINTER!" He laughs aloud. "I've been waiting all WEEK to say that." Then, BLAM, he shoots out the camera. Static.

Scenes from Cairo Sat Feb 02 News Report

The first few images from Cairo are scenes of absolute terror. Squads of Joes prowl the streets, marching without fear of reprisal from the Repliforce. A woman, fallen to her knees, sheds tears over a man flattened by a Super Arm'd boulder. Finally, the last photo is one with the great pyramids of Giza far in the background:

At some nine feet tall, the spike-covered red android known as Punk stands. He's looking away to the left, as if he cares little for anything. His right hand is stretched out, and in that hand, he holds -the- flag. This banner waves in the winds, one marked with an ever-familiar skull with a "Dr. W!" brand across it's forehead. Below this flag, a pile of three bodies lie. One Egyptian man, and two Repliforce soldiers. These bodies have been impaled by the pole of the flag, and crushed by the mighty stride of Robot Master world domination.

(Begin dramatic, season-ending drum solo)

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "You'd be surprised."

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man says, sounding a little curious, "Are you going to die now?""

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man giggles a little. "It wouldn't be the first time? Would it?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] God of War Gemini Man transmits, "Noooo..."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta XO Metal Man transmits, "Okay Heat needs some help. Wood, and any other abled Beta Squad memebers help me get Heat Man back to base for treatment."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "Perhaps reducing him to energy rings would be beneficial at this time."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Wood Man transmits, "... ... ... ... ... Who did this? Who hurt my squadmate?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ballade transmits, "If his systems fail, Wily will rebuilt him. We have the technology."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker plays an odd Bionic Man sound-file.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, ".. what on earth was that? ERWIN, system debug time."

[Radio: (A) Masters] RM #30 Dust Man transmits, "ANd destroy all we have worked for forever. You forget the reactor."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ballade transmits, "I can maintain a reactor. Or are you saying Heat Man's shielding has breached?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] RM #30 Dust Man transmits, "It's started. One of Pegasus' feathers punctured the neural coating of his spinal cord."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man sounds really angry. He's already had a bad day, and now this.

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "He shall create an amusing electromagnetic blast from orbit, aimed at London.. Precisely before which, we will hack into the bank of England, and transfer millions upon millions.."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Wood Man transmits, "Let me be with Heat. Please Enker."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Elec Man transmits, "...I'm coming down there."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ice Man transmits, "Are you sure Dust?"

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "I don't wanna be a bad Bond plot device..."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Zeta CO Yamato Man transmits, "He'll pay ... the pegasus will pay for this suffering. I will make his body weep mech-fluid tears with my blade. I should have killed him in India."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Ballade sounds odd. "Cold is comforting."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Enker transmits, "Comforting is cold."

[Radio: (A) Masters] Beta CO Heat Man transmits, "Cold. No. Never. Again. I'm Not gonna let Dad put me into Stasis. Ever. Ever. Again. I don't want to be cold. And alone. And I can't move. No. Never."

Repair Bay [Skull Citadel]

This room holds all the equipment necessary to make complex repairs to Robot Masters. The floors and walls have been carved from stone, incongruously primitive when compared to the modern paraphernalia housed here. In one corner is the fully self-contained automatic repair chamber. Lining the edges of the room are medical beds of varying sizes. An island in the center of the room contains cabinets for materials and supplies as well as a basic tabletop reference console.

Wood Man [Normal] [RM]
Crystal Man [Armor] [RM]
Yamato Man [Normal] [RM]
Enker [Enker] [RM]
Nurse Jane #7
Repair Chamber
The Dust Heap

Obvious exits:
Blue Doors leads to Corridor [Skull Citadel].

Wood Man carefully sets Heat into the chamber before closing the door with a THUNK. "Rest well, Bro." Wood's own armor is leaking and in parts falling off, but Log always waits. It bugs Plant like you won't believe, too.

Enker remains silent, resting back on a table. He'd otherwise be able to pass himself off for background shadows, if it weren't for the fact that he's spinning a giant tea-cup on a finger.

[Radio: (D) Pendant-Holders] Tron Bonne transmits, "I see you've been busy... ...I assume the Pendants were a major assistance in your endevour?"

[Radio: (D) Pendant-Holders] Enker transmits, "What they have assisted with does not matter, Tron Bonne. You wished to meet with me. Soon, you shall."

[Radio: (D) Pendant-Holders] Ballade transmits, "Not really."

[Radio: (D) Pendant-Holders] Mars Gemini Man transmits, "Can't deny it helped."

[Radio: (D) Pendant-Holders] Tron Bonne sighs. "Well, Tonight will certianly be a busy one..."

Metal Man arrives from the Corridor [Skull Citadel].
Metal Man has arrived.

Crystal Man walks in alongside Wood Man, holding Heat Man's hand as the log carries him. He looks like he's been... crying? But since when do Robot Masters have tear ducts?... He inwardly frowns a bit as Heat Man is put into the repair chanber, but now is definitely not the time to argue about *how* the nuclear one gets repaired. Instead, he just reluctantly lets Heat's hand go and walks to a padded medtable, quietly awaiting his own repairs.

And he needs them. His armor looks to be on the brink of disintegrating; the frost on it is finally melting, revealing even more cracks criscrossing it than could be discerned before. And that's only on the outside...

Gemini Man steps into the repair bay, as that is where the life seems to be, at the moment. Stepping just inside the doors, he looks around, defintely happy, definitely appeased, but seeming, a bit detached. Uncaring for who in particular is injured, simply looking, at all of the injury.

Yamato follows behind the others, having a stab wound and a variety of electrical burns. He takes his position at the far end of the order, waiting for the most seriously injured to be mended first.

Wood Man gives a bit of a smile, and puts his arm around Crystal. "I suppose I can let you share a great Beta Master tradition I've had. Way back when we had to wait for Wily to come out and repair us, no repair chamber, no brothers able to heal us." Log takes out a small first aid kit box, and hands it to Crystal. "Use it well." Inside? A large roll of duct tape, nothing else.

Crystal Man actually smiles weakly at this, though it's not visible through his face mask. "Thank you, brother... I appreciate it very much." So armed, the mystic looks his armor over carefully, trying to determine where best to apply the super-adhesive while unrolling a bit. After all, he's liable to need his armor remade entirely anyway; what could it hurt?

Flash Man arrives from the Corridor [Skull Citadel].
Flash Man has arrived.

Metal Man is in the medical bay keeping an Optic on Heat Man. Metal sure might like to torment his brothers. But woe who who is not a master and does so.

Crystal Man is sitting on a medtable, trying his best to duct-tape together the most fragile parts of his armor. Which, by the way, is so riddled with cracks from cold attacks and a bombardment of cryo-explosives that it looks like it'd fall apart at the next human's punch.

Gemini Man cracks back his right shoulder, which pops nois
