Repair Bay Assisstants Medical Support - Skull Fortress Between such resident medics as Dust Man and Junk Man, this room is as much a scrap heap as a medical facility, and as much a warzone as a scrap heap. Towards the front are three fully equipped repair tables and an automatic repair chamber, and the room is ringed by cabinets and storage units, if you can get to them through the piles of defunct drones and spare parts. The latest generation of Master medical assistant drones has been specially designed for this environment, with a radar positioning system and an additional pair of drill arms. One wall features three giant diagnostics displays. These can be used to call up known information on both friends and foes.

Hydraulic Doors leads to Vehicle Docking - Skull Fortress. The repair bay is quiet. Then there is squacking. Inane squacking in quick and rapid-fire succession, as a vertiable squadron of RM penguin drones march into the room. "WILY-dammit, WHAT?" comes a shout from the back of the line, as, inadvertadly chosen Penguin Squad Commander, Gemini Man, is pushed forward by two of his loyal minions, into the room. A few of the Penpens stop when they get inside, and jump up and down hurredly. Oh yes, it's was quiet. Realllly quiet. Too quiet. Way too much. Adding to the loud noises the newly arrived causes...An grunt, quickly followed by the voice of semone saying -- "Ah! About time! Semone finnaly came to save me! Hurray!"...Coming from under a table in the Repair Bay. It's Cut Man. But why is IT coming from THERE? Find out, fellow master! "What's up?" Gemini Man appears...flipped half-up-side-down, and peering, under the table where he heard the strange noise. "Er. Down," says the Gemini who originally entered. He frees himself of his penpen audience, and dusts himself off a bit from the embarassment of it all. "Right," says the twin in response. And under the table lies an slightly charred, upside-down (Darn thoses sissors!) severed, yet somehow active head of the Alpha Robot Master Cut Man. At one of the Gemini's question, he twitch slightly and says back. "What's UP!? I've been like that for the past few DAYS and no one even noticed me! No one!" Well, sorta. Maby he exagerate...but you probably get his point. "I noticed." The twin pulls the head out from under its resting spot, and holds it out in one hand.
Oh man. THAT was bound to happen one of thoses day, I suppose. Cut Man twitches some more at the Shakespear short recital and resist the urge to bite the twin's hand. "Yeah, you just noticed /NOW/!" Twitch twitch. "You wanna know what happened?!" He motion -- it's hard when you just have optics that can move! -- troward the repair chamber. "That stupid thing spite me out when I was not even completely repaired! Can you imagine that!?" Yeah, after bein' thrown out of the chamber for some wacked reason, rolled around, then picked up like a ball, it's does get irritating. Gemini twin tosses the head up a little, a couple of times, as if trying to make Cut dizzy. It's oddly balanced thanks to those scissors, and he nearly drops it. "I can't think of a use for this thing," he says to his other self. "Not really a proper basketball."
If Cut Man was not a robot, he would be quite sick after being tossed around like that. Thanksfully, he is not. Because he would be dead, y'know, without a body and all. "Cut it out, Gemini!" He says in an annoyed ton, "And I'm NOT a basketball!"
"It's good to be able to see yourself. I don't know how most people operate without it," muses the second twin, looking the body up and down. "Will it not move until I reattach your head?"
With the whoosh of energy to matter conversions emanating from the teleporter room, heavy bootfalls on the metal floor precede the doors' opening. Dynamo Man strides in, his armor quite well scratched up. Looks like he'd been through a pretty good sandstorm.
"Oh trust me, I could live easly without seeing my head-less body while my head is on a table." Cut retort at Gemini2. "And yep, just put me back on, flick some wires and I should be alright." Enter Dynamo. Behold the Basketball-Head Cutman, Dynamo. Behold as he eyes the battery Master! "Yeah, same to you, I guess Dynamo...And does it's REALLY look like it's went fine, you think?" "Oh, perfectly in order," says the second Gemini, beaming at Dynamo Man. It goes without saying that one might want to take care when Gemini Man, either of them, seems to be beaming. The second twin then ignores the body, in the repair chamber, altogether, and walks over to a cupboard. He roots through, and pulls out some spare wires... a few odd screws, and a vice clamp. Then he walks back toward the Cut Man head.
Dynamo Man shrugs to Cut. "Well, as well as repairs can go, that is." He's familiar with the tone of constant sarcasm he gets from most of his brothers, not to mention more used to it than he'd like to be. Then Gemini's expression strikes him as quite odd. "Suspicious, off-base? Not that I recall. Unless you mean all these nicks and striations in my armor -- those are from north Saharan recon duties, checking on our Joe production plants, et cetera. Someone report something and I missed it?" Shark Man walks in the door, and notices that there's a crowd in here. He walks over to them. "Hey dudes, what's happenin'?" "Yeah, sure, whatever." Cut Man simply says back at Dynamo...Then the head observe the Gemini Twin with an eye brow raised. Well, he would if he had some, anyway. He give a quick glance at Shark Man, saying "Feeling like a French king." befor going back at Gemini. "What are you going to do...?" "Helping." And with that, the second Gemini Man starts 'helping' with Cut Man's repairs. He starts by bending a stray, stiff wire into a pair of glasses, and trying to 'sit' them on Cut's face. Given that Cut, like him, has no nose to balance them on, this doesn't work too well, so, he removes them, and goes to happily bending wires into random shapes. He takes a thin one, and tries to tie it around Cut Man's head-scissors. "We're going to detain you for observation."
Dynamo Man chuckles. "Well met, do you need an extra pair of hands? Perhaps a level head?" He steps toward a med-cabinet, and then notices Shark come in. "Ah, greetings, Shark." He leans against the wall, just chillin'. Shark Man looks at the Penpen a bit before speaking. "Huh.. what? Oh yeah, last night there was some stuff going on down at the pole. It didn't really look like much was happening though, so, like, I took off after the Penpen left. "Wha-wha-what are you doing!?" Cut Man helplessly wails. If he could control his body, thoses darn wires right away!
Gemini Man's second half seems quite pleased that Dynamo Man isn't making any moves to impede his progress. He ties the scissors-clamp tightly shut, for safety's sake, then hangs a few decorative wires off the mess. "Not a level head, but a head-level would be nice. Oh, and a petri dish. Gotta keep him in fluid to keep him working properly."
Dynamo Man just facepalms at Cut's reaction. "Stuff going on at the pole? That's pretty vague. Did you or the Penpens see /anything/?" he queries Shark, meanwhile getting out a few tools ... Shark Man nods to Gemini, before looking over to Dynamo. "Well, now that you mention it, there were these, like, ice statues, or something, and some eagle chick in a block of ice. Didn't look like anyone was causing trouble or anything, so I left." "Fluid!? Head level?! What are you doing! Stop that! Stop it!" As much Cut Man would protest, he can't do anything but staying still haplessly, like all severed heads are. Quite sad, is it? Dosen't stop the Alpha to keep talking. "Untie my sissor! It's annoying!" Dynamo Man blinks. "Ice statues? Hmm .... why don't you go tell Frost Man what you saw. I know he'd be interested in this." A bit of a grin, maybe a hint of sadism for those who /really/ look for it. "Everything else been well with you?" *Sir, there were some strange intruders. They were far from base, in the south. The statues are not gone.* A penguin salutes Dynamo Man, and squacks all this out in its drone language. If you don't speak Penpen, you're out of luck there.
Shark Man says "Well, I don't know if Frosty would like them. They, like, all head there heads smashed off, and stuff. But, well, other than that, I'm a'ight." Then, he looks at the Penpen. "Dude, they weren't intruders, they were just, like, looking at the statues. and stuff." Cut Man's protests are ignored! What will the helpless Alpha will do after being tortured and used as an some cheap stand and model for some modern art? Keep protesting, of course. "Lock my body in the closet!? No! Don't! Dooooon't! Put me back on my body! Please!" Dynamo Man ahs. "Good eye for detail, brother -- good lord Gemini what are you /doing/!?" Dynamo turns around, staring at Gemini. "Penpen don't understand all that well." says Gemini Man to Shark, as he types on the monitor, then turns around. "Their programming is set up to see any non-Robot-Master on their patrols as 'indruders.' We guess we might try making one a bit smarter." He looks at one of the penguins, and the penguin looks back. They blink at each other. "Worked for the Janes," Gemini says.
"No! I don't wanna be an disembodied head! No! D--" Cut pauses, blinking a few time. "Oh, right, I /AM/ a disembodied head." He blinks again, befor looking back at Gemini. "Still! Stop it! I just wanna go back on my body, darnit! I'm not a cheap B-Movie horror thingie!" Admitedly, with all thoses wires and what going to happen soon, he WILL be. Dynamo Man shakes his head softly, dropping it into his palm. "Gemini ... if you want someone's head to go put on a nice vantage point, go kill Barrage Raptor. Put Cut's head back on his body." Gemini Man's counterpart steps back from the tool closet, and looks at the artwork he's done to Cut Man's head. He looks at Dynamo Man. Then back at the head. "What. You think we're medics? We don't know how to reattach it." He shrugs, and just waits for Dynamo Man do undo his artwork.
Dynamo Man sighs out of exasperation. "You /almost/ had me fooled, Gemini." He starts removing all the extras from the Alpha's head. Snake Man enters the room, holding his gun arm. The upper portion is showing a tear in the synthskin, but nothing serious. It's not leaking fluid or anything, just a rip in need of being stiched up. "Wha? Really? Woohoo! Thanks!" Cut says to no one in perticular -- okay, most likely Dynamo -- "Finnaly free from thoses stupid wires...and I'm gonna be fine!" He says happily. "...That's it, when I'm gonna be whole again." The second Gemini laughs toward Dynamo Man. "We did?" He puts his hand in front of his face, and chuckles. "Well now you know."
Dynamo Man works on Cut's head, until Snake comes in. "Hello, brother --" Gemini's disappearance doesn't surprise him at all. "What's with your blaster?" "I mean it, really, thanks, Dynamo! I din't wanted to end up in an horror museum. Really!" Cut Man starts. Here he goes... "I mean, with all thoses wires, I'm sure I would have looked really wierd." His head tips foward like if he was nodding -- don't ask how he did it. He notices Snake Man entering...and Gemini Man that was terrorising him vanishing. "Oh! Hi Snake Man! How are you doing? Better than me, I'm sure!" Snake Man gives the original Gemini a hissing chuckle, then turns to Dynamo. "Cut it on sssome glasss at the pet ssstore..." Gemini Man doesn't like that laugh. He folds his arms across his chest, and looks down, trying not to shake. The penguin looks up at him with some concern, which makes him feel even stupider. "Sorry 'bout that, Snake. We should go. We need to make a report now." Dynamo Man just smiles as Cut rambles on about his vastly improved condition, facing Snake from time to time. "Do be careful next time... I'm helping Cut at the moment, but you can grab a nano-patch from cabinet 8FF4 over there." He points, then returns to picking Cut's face back to 'normal'. Snake Man gives a nod to Cut's head, then grins at Gemini again. "Gessz Gemini, every time I show up, you find an essxcussse to leave. It'sss like you're not delighted to sssee me or sssomething." Gemini Man doesn't have a good response to that. "Yes, well... yes. We have an excuse to leave. Commencing operation next week," he then says, on a bit of a tangent. "Thank you for the good work. Had some delay while the new programming took hold... it... did a bit of something or other." He blinks. Damn nervous rambling. As if a commander should have to make excuses to his underling. Cut Man is getting back to normal! Yay! By the minute, he turning less and less into a freakshow item! "Yeah, I mean, it's almost like if you owned Snake Man a few zennies and trying to evade him as much you can so you don't have to give it back to him." Anoter patented nod. "Yeah! Watch out! I'm sure that darn repair chamber is defective! Look what it did to me!" Dynamo Man chuckles. "Yeah, if you're not careful, things like this can happen ... alright." Cut's face is clear. "Your body's still in the chamber, correct?" Snake Man wanders over to the supply cabinet, and pulls out a patch. Taking a seat on the nearest table, he directs his attention to sewing it in with a needle and thread that he produces from a hatch in his chest. Maybe without Snake looking at him, Gemini can give more coherant answers. "Ssso have you raided the Interpol offisscesss in London yet?" Cut Man says, "Yeah. It's still in there. I think. Should be anyway. Still headless, too, since I'm here on this table." Cut Man open-close his sissor one or two time just for testing. "Ahhh! About time!" Gemini Man speaks up toward Snake. "Delay with the new programming. Yes. Not yet. Wish you hadn't brought it up... Gamma project." Gemini shrugs a shoulder over toward the other two. "...So you know," he says to both of them. There is something special about a Gamma project. Don't want too many of the ...uncouth types involved in one. Dynamo Man leaves Cut's head on the medtable, trekking over to the repair chamber and retrieving the luckless one's body, laying it out on a nearby table. "Now the fun begins." Snake Man pulls the last of the thread out, and uses his teeth to cut the strand. The replacement patch slowly fades to match the black synthskin of his upper arm. Coming from above is an horde of scrap, mets, broken concret walls, a few garbage bins and one or two cats clinging for thiere lives. All this pile crash near you, with an large sissor and an hand holding a cookie sticking out. The whole thing is then stomped away by a Big Foot. Dynamo Man takes out a medical scanner and scans Cut Man. Gemini Man takes a step back while Snake is distracted, then, backs out. Noting he's leaving, the penguin chirps and follows. "What? The fun? What do you mean by 'Fun'? You think it's fun to be left on a table like some wax decorative skull like that?..." Cut cuts -- excuse the lame pun -- himself, blinking as he notices what he about to do. "Oh. Sorry. Never mind. Go ahead."
