Timeline: GuardianWing enters the story in "To the Surface," as he checks in the Maximals at their arrival to the Council Citadel. Suddenly he finds himself entangled in their story and the secret of the Magnaboss. Flashbacks of his former life as a soldier urge him to learn more about his past. When he discovers it, in the Secrets of Cybertron movie, he decides to be called by his old name, GuardianClaw. He aids Darkwave in inflitrating the Predacons, becoming loyal to Megatron. However, when GuardianClaw discovers the truth about Magnaboss, he snaps, becoming the leader of a new rebellion against the Decepticon leaders. He is hunted and captured, but eventually escapes. The rebellion falls apart when he challenges Shockwave for his right to rule the planet...and loses.
