Image: Gold, pink and red in her Transmetal body, Angel has large green eyes in a fish-finned face. Her beast mode splits into two distinct halves, which rest fanned like wings on her robot mode body. She is small and slender, and has full five-finged hands and small feet. When she folds into her fish form, the paired swords she carries become tail fins. For her vehicle mode, she turns the fish body on its side, rearranging the fins and folding the nose into a cockpit shape to become a bomber jet.

History: The newly elected Maximal Council representative for the reservior sector, Aquas, Angel had all of the qualifications to be a proper Maximal leader: honesty, integrity, and enough naivete to get herself in trouble. Though she had worked hard to reach her seat on the Council, Angel found the job difficult for a female to hold; she did not want to be treated as if she were too weak or too young to represent her sector well. She soon discovered that gaining respect meant taking it, even if that meant she would have to lie like a Predacon.
At the end of the Beast Wars, the Predacon rebel Megatron was brought before council not once, but several times, to plead his case. Angel never missed a moment of Megatron's speeches in his defense: she found them gripping, intelligent, and, in many ways, deadly accurate. She eventually grew to believe that she had a special insight into the madman's inner workings, and became instrumental among the groups delaying a final judgement of his sentence. Finally, after the third trial, she was entirely convinced that to become a Predacon and join the real revolution was the only way to set Megatron free. The Revolutionaries made her a Transmetal when she signed on.

Roleplaying hints: Being mean takes practice. Luckily, you've had it. After years of supressing a latent attitude and extreme frustrations, Angel is ready to take those frustrations out on the world. You may not hit hard, but you always keep coming; you may not have the best words, but you always want to have the last. To say you are overbearing is an exaggeration: after all, you're an ex-politician.
Angel's obsession for Megatron is well-known among her peers, who, while appriciating her insight in to the Maximal Citadel and Maximal Policy, think she is largely a lunatic. Your collection has recordings of every word Megatron ever said while on Cybertron; you have a stuffed red dragon, and a statue of him in your room. It isn't that you have a crush on him, but that you appriciate him on an intellectual level and agree with his goals and ideals. Other males interest you not in the least. Sellsword, Starfire, they flirt with everyone, and they are clearly not at all very smart. ...No, it's not a crush...really.

Quotes: "The Maximal political scene prepared me ideally for being a Predacon."
"Warders? They're just Maximals with attitude."
"He's simply the most intelligent speaker I've ever heard! His points are so clear, precise, correct! His voice... It's NOT a CRUSH!"
"He is NOT GAY!!!"

Timeline: Angel first appears among the Revolutionaries during their attack in "Guarding the Green." She accompaines the Revolutionaries to Earth in the second season (where she has her first few encounters with Starfire). She is made Transmetal II in "Lockdown." Use this Nature and these Roleplaying Hints for any time during Megatron's lifetime; Angel's personality changes to the below after the episode "To Fall in the Fires."

Image: Angel has gained no mass in her new form, and does not have a vehicle mode. She compensates for the loss by having new robot mode wings; parts of her beast mode body folded in sheets, that flap on her back, allowing her to fly. Her color scheme has gained a bright blue and lowlights in black; her serrated fins are edged in turquoise.

History: Angel had been more than pleased to work with the Revolutionaries, as they finally had achieved their goals: setting Megatron free and working to destroy Tripredicus! Angel had hoped that working with Megatron would be the best experience in her life...but it seemed he wasn't very interested in getting her input or her understanding. Then, just after rallying the Predacons to what should be their greatest victory, the unthinkable happened: Angel's hero...lost.

Roleplaying hints: Angel still works toward the goals of the Revolution, but she does so with only half her spark. Carrying on Megatron's vision is important to her, but she is no longer willing to live in his shadow. There are still people that you care about. Hardhead treats you like his mommy; Krakken is a friend; they know you have become less than yourself, sad and afraid. You sleep around now, because it offers you comfort, but it seemed that those who used to be interested in a real relationship with you all looked the other way while you were aiming a different direction. Tripredicus has given you offers: lucrative offers. They know about your pain, and they want to help... They are wrong, of course...right? Lately you are torn between being the Predacon you became and the Maximal you wish you were.

Quotes: "The races really are the same, inside. Greedy."
"I have a committment here now. Even if I had no other reason to stay."

Timeline: Angel assists in the Megatron breakout prior to the "Secrets of Cybertron" movie. During the course of the movie, some of the reality of her mistakes (particularly false expectations about Megatron himself) begin to set in. Her personality changes after "To Fall in the Fires," when Optimus Primal and Megatron engage in combat over the Predacon Pit. Shortly after, she nearly leaves the Revolutionaries in "Rebels Recruit," when Tripredicus promises wonderful things for her soon-to-be-born offspring. After she is rescued by Medusa and Sellsword in the underground of Polyhex, she leaves the Revolutionaries in "What We Have Become," hoping to instead regain her original life back in her Maximal home.

Note: Angel kind of suffered from a "reverse Inferno" syndrome. When she was first introduced, she was great fun to tease and play for comedy, which is what she was intended for. After Megatron died, it's unfair to call her worthless, but she was certainly pathetic, having lost most of her driving force. Though she was among those that learned a lesson from their experiences in the game, she had a sad spirit because of it. Sometimes character development in Storyteller System is like that, I guess.
If Tripredicus had gotten ahold of Angel's twin sparks, they were planning on Optimizing them together to make one freakish, frightening, scary spawn soldier. I have the sheet still around here somewhere, and never got to use it: it's marked "Gigatron."
