Image: In beast mode, Redstreak is an ordinary-looking cardinal, with male coloration, of the common size: hardly worth noticing at all, save to bird-watchers. However, when she unfolds into her robot mode, she is human-sized, and well-armed. A narrow blaster that produces a column of flame rests on her left shoulder, and a pair of laser-blasters are attached to the backs of her hands. In close combat, she pulls feather-shaped blades from behind her back. In either mode, she is very quick; she has been known to dart around wildly during combat. Her body in robot mode is almost entirely red: the cardinal's beak and face rest on her breastplate, and a crown of feathers surrounds her head. In robot mode, her crimson wings become large, and stunning. The bird's claws rest on her shoulders. She has full five-fingered hands, and black optics in a pinkish face.

History: Redstreak was patient in working her way up the Maximal ranks. She was quick, perceptive, and made an excellent scout; before long, she was commanding the occasional mission. Her life was in her unit; she had no ties anywhere else, and she loved the work.
Her only snag was on a simple run...her first commanding mistake, and, one she knows she will never repeat. As she made her first scan of the area, all seemed clear...when the unit entered, they were ambused by the Predacons. Apparently, this Insecticon force had created a device to evade infrared scanners. The outnumbered Maximals lost several allies...since then, as far as Redstreak is concerned, the only good insect is the one she's eating. Still, other Maximals find her agreeable, and a fair leader. She typically takes second-in-command to a higher ranking officer, but she's no stranger to working on her own, if the job calls for it.

Roleplaying hints: Redstreak is always curious about the details. If something seems unusual, puzzle it out. If someone seems friendly, speak to them at once; you're not afraid to talk to strangers, and strangers usually have the best information. You're always on the lookout for possible allies; a Maximal should make friends with Maximals...it's the Predacons you have to watch out for. The "less crawly" of the Predacons might even be turned, though you don't bet on it. When you're at work, keep your eye on the prize. Even your focus can wander, sometimes, if an electronic bauble or a scanner anomaly catches your eye, but you don't like to see that sort of behavior in others.
