Image: Tigerhawk's beast mode is a white, winged tiger, with talons instead of front paws. The wings still appear metal, made from blue feathers edged with green. In his robot mode, he retains the tiger features foremost, keeping the black stripes along his arms and legs. His bird talons tuck up on his shoulders, clipping there, while his wings remain on his back. His face has some similarities to Tigatron's, but is more skeletal, a representation of the facial features of his Vok originators. The Maximal symbol is bold across his robot mode chest. He has a metal loincloth formed from his bird's tail, and tiger's feet.

History: An alien device on planet Earth sprung suddenly to life when it encountered the presence of sentient life: in this case, the Maximals Tigatron and Airazor, lovers with animal spirits who were scouting the ancient artifact. Rather than being destroyed by the strange device, Tigatron and Airazor were transported to another plane of existance, where they were studied. The aliens, the mysterious ethereal race called the Vok, who created the planet and the artifact, were unable to effect Earth any further without sending an emmissary. Combining the bodies of their two test subjects, the Vok created an agent to enforce their hold on Earth. The two sparks, lost and homeless, worked their way back to the body, creating a being not Tigatron, nor Airazor, nor truly Vok agent. Released from his emmissary service after the destruction of the Vok's foe Tarantulas, the new Maximal, Tigerhawk, joined the Beast Wars.

Roleplaying hints: Tigerhawk has a unique history, and he takes it all into account before he acts. Promises to the Vok race while under their control make up part of your psyche. The primal urges of the tiger are another. And the spark of Tigatron, nature's ally and pacifist, still beats among yours. If your Maximal programming did not urge to to require a surrender before an attack, your former personality still would. However, Tigerhawk was created as an enforcer, and he does not hold back in a fight. You are not boastful about your new powers and skills, but you use them to their fullest in every situation. Fearless and steadfast, Tigerhawk is a warrior of few words. He is animal and alien, but he remembers his friends from his old life, and he will do anything to protect them.

Timeline: In the second season, in "Other Visits," Tigatron and Airazor both vanish. Their new form, Tigerhawk, enters the Beast Wars in "Other Victories." He battles Megatron in "Nemesis," and dies in the second half of the two-part series finale.
