Image: In robot mode, Inferno is over seven feet tall, flame red, and never far from his flame thrower. He has red optics in a silver head, and a mouth full of razor-sharp teeth. His chest becomes his head in beast mode, and the ant's violet and faceted eyes are visible adorning it. He has two-fingered hands, and single-toed feet, and gains an extra set of limbs when he transforms into his enormous ant mode. Despite Inferno's insistence, in and out, that he is an ant, he spends little time in his beast mode, seeing his robot mode as a natural extension of his abilities and a gift that he alone can bring to the colony. He can also fly in his robot mode, by spreading out the leaves of his ant-abdomen, which is prominent in both modes, and forming a propeller with a rocket engine as its power source.
History: Originally a Maximal protoform, you were unfortunate enough to be located and activated by Tarantulas, who meant to create a spider Predacon. However, internal errors in the stasis pod and the imperfect job he did in the activation shattered your mind. When the pod scanned not the spider he had hoped for, but the fireants in a nearby colony, you emerged as an ant, in mind and body. Seeing first the stasis pod, then the Predacon base, as your new colony, you declared absolute loyalty to Megatron, the "queen" of the Predacon colony. Megatron was so impressed with your loyalty, violent tendancies, and physical prowess that he immediately appointed you his subcommander, allowing you to lead missions and give orders to the other Predacons under his command.
Roleplaying hints: Your sanity is fragile. Have a good time with the fact. Speak in proper, British tones when in a good mood; scream in incoherent rage when provoked. Your loyalty to Megatron, whom you call, "The Royalty," or even, "The Queen," is absolute. You will never question his orders nor make a move to harm him, and anyone who does so or threatens to do so is a villain or a traitor, and should be immediately destroyed. Secondary to Megatron is your loyalty to the Predacon base itself—"The Colony."
Proclaim your fascination with fire often. You can suddenly turn on any object or ally other than Megatron if you feel they would look lovely while aflame.

Timeline: Inferno premieres in the episode "Spider's Game." He immediately declares his absolute loyalty to the Predacon leader, and is very quickly promoted.

History: With two of Megatron's troops destroyed, Inferno now becomes the Predacons' only second in command. Upon finding a relic deep in a mountain cavern that, to you, resembled the Golden Disk that is Megatron's most-loved posession, you brought this second disk to your Queen, starting a raging tug-of-war over both disks that only increased in intensity when the players discovered that the Beast Wars were taking place on the planet Earth. However, the name of the planet that your Queen means to conquer is of no concern to you, so long as you continue to please him in every possible way.
Roleplaying Hints: You retain a sense of camaraderie with the other Predacon troops—playing cards with them, aiding their success on missions—while knowing full-well that you are the queen's favorite soldier. Your love for the wonderful Royalty also grows with each passing cycle. You know that, behind your back, the others consider you a snob and a yes-man, but they are unimportant, for they are merely drones. As always, completing your missions for the Queen and Colony are of the utmost importance.
Timeline: Inferno remains Megatron's loyal second throughout this season and the third. He nearly destroys himself while aiding Megatron in a self-sacrificial move in "The Agenda, Part Three" but is fortunate enough to recover.

Roleplaying hints: You are slowly, carefully, going even more insane. The combination of confused programming in your tattered logic circuits, the many times you've stared death in the eye, the pure beauty of a red blaze, the COLONY! THE COLONY! DEATH TO ALL MAXIMALS, ENEMIES OF THE COLONY! YES, MY QUEEN! HOW MAY I SERVE THE ILLUSTRIOUS ROYALTY IN BRING DESTRUCTION TO OUR GREAT FOES?
Timeline: Though Inferno supports Megatron's goal to the very end, his own loyalty turns out to be his undoing. In "Nemesis, Part Two," at the end of the series, Megatron, piloting the Nemesis, vaporizes Inferno along with Quickstrike in an attempted attack on the protohuman colony.
