Image: In beast mode, a large black widow spider, with tiny legs and a prominent hourglass marking on the abdomen. In robot mode, still a spider, in many ways. The spiders' legs (machine guns) protrude from the upper half of her arm, and the hourglass is still clear on the back of her hourglass-shaped body. Her lower arms are gold and black pinchers, and her head is a dark helmet, patterned like hair, and "crowned" with gold. Her face is golden, and her optics are narrow, and very dark; she has almost Asian features. The Predacon symbol is clearly marked on the collar on her neck.
History: Your stasis pod landed on the planet, and was captured by the Predacons, who wanted to use the pod to create an ally of their own. Tarantulas (that weirdo) directed your protoformation and attempted to program you to be his ideal mate and confidant. Things did not work out well according to his plan, as you proved to be far too intelligent and stubborn to fall to his whims. You use your position as the Predacon's only female to your advantage, flirting with the others to weasel out information for your own use. You humor Tarantulas' little crush. Anything to get an edge.
Roleplaying hints: If there's anything you decide you want, you don't hesitate to get it. After all, you are a woman—just what these sorry troops have been missing for quite some time. Tarantulas knows a lot; it's a shame you just can't find a way to actually like him very much. Still, he started it, so it doesn't hurt to...web him along, a little bit? However, anyone on the top is attractive to you. It's a shame Megatron doesn't seem to fall for your feminine wiles.
As far as your ultimate goal...well...destroying the Maximals, taking over the Predacons, and winning the Beast Wars for yourself seems to be a good start, but there's no way you can do that all at once. For now, flirt, flirt, flirt...pry, pry, pry...and never underestimate the power of playing both sides.

Timeline: Blackarachnia is created in the episode "Double Jeopardy," and very quickly becomes one of the most ruthless of the Predacons. In the episode "The Trigger," she nearly destroys the Maximal base with an alien weapon. However, in the episode "Other Voices," she is forced to help the Maximals by programming Tarantulas's intended escape ship to aid Optimus in saving the planet. In this same episode, Tarantulas invades her mind when she attempts to download information from his memory banks.

History: You wanted information from Tarantulas in the worst way, so you tried to download data tracks from him while he was in stasis lock. Big mistake. For a while, he rode inside your mind. He looked at all your secrets, and you looked at his. Bad secrets. You managed to get around the problem, though: when he was temporarily taken out during a fight, you downloaded the knowledge from the Golden Disks into your circuitry...and triple-encoded it. By threatening suicide,
you managed to get Tarantulas out of your mind for good...and, since the Golden Disks are history, you're the only one with the information anymore.
That information turned out to be something the Maximals wanted. Since then, their new Fuzor's been "hounding" you... Apparently, he's under the assumption that you're some kind of good guy. Sure, you'll stay with the Maximals, if they need you. What you want is really important. Since you're a Maximal protoform, letting Megatron win is not a good idea.
Roleplaying hints:
So what's with this this Silverbolt guy? He's kinda cute...and dumb as a rock, which gives you a perfect opportunity to do the double-agent trick. And he's actually protective of you! This could be completely hilarious—one Maximal that is never going to fire on you. Okay, his doting-puppy ways are annoying, but it's an annoyance you can live with.
In the meantime, you're still a Predacon, and Predacon is how you plan to stay. Tarantulas (that creep) despises you now. That's okay, since you despise him; he's turned out to be a freak, a monster, a demon from the lowest Pit... You know it all and it turned out to be more than you wanted to know.
Stupid people are easier to pull strings on. Quickstrike, another new recruit, is an easy target for the batted-lashes routine.
At least you can revel in the fact that you have all the information. You've seen files from both units, you've copied the Golden Disk, you know how to get in and out of the Ark...Knowledge is Power, and Power feels good.
Anyway, you'll never be a hero; even if you do something the Maximals like, it's for your safety, not their peace of mind. ...right?

Timeline: "Very complex." Use the sheet above for all Season Two and Three scenarios prior to the episode "Crossing the Rubicon" (see below).
However, during Season Two scenarios, Blackarachnia is in the Predacon unit; during Season Three scenarios, she is in the Maximal unit. (She does not alter her activation code, regardless, until "Crossing.")
Tarantulas has partial control over Blackarachnia and can read her thoughts during any time during/between the episodes "Other Voices" and "Tangled Web." After "Tangled Web," she is free of the possession.
Blackarachnia has the information regarding the Autobot Ark downloaded onto her circuitry (where Tarantulas cannot reach) during and after the latter part of "Coming of the Fuzors."
She meets Silverbolt for the first time during "Tangled Web." After that, she'll never be rid of him.
During "The Agenda," Blackarachnia uses her knowledge to enter the Ark, becoming the first Predacon to discover it.
In the episode "Optimal Situation," Blackarachia realizes that Megatron's ultimate plan—to destroy Optimus Prime, causing the Maximal race to perish—will destroy her, as well. Though Megatron is able to use her codes to enter the Ark, she doublecrosses him, saving Prime to secure her own survival.
From then on, Blackarachnia stays in the Ark with the Maximals.

Image: As a Transmetal II, Blackarachnia looks startlingly different. Her spider mode and robot mode are colored royal blue, with red, yellow, and black designs on the spider's back, the robot shoulders. Black metal spider's legs fan from her back, and her body is "clothed" in red and gold metal. The crown on her head is elaborate, red and gold, criss-crossing her face and the bridge of her nose. Her two-fingered hands hide retractable clawed weapons; she has spiked knees, and spiked heels.
History: Blackarachnia discovered that in order to become a full Maximal, she would have to undergo a complex procedure, removing the Predacon shell program from her internal circuitry. She relented, opting instead to use the pilfered Transmetal II driver to make herself more powerful. The experiment with the driver was a failure, nearly destroying her. Attempting the procedure to remove her shell program was her only chance for survival. However, the program was trapped; Tarantulas had added safeguards that would result in her destruction if the shell was removed. Attempts to bypass the shell failed, but, a miracle occured.
Before Blackarachnia could perish for good, the Transmetal II driver reacted with her prone form, transforming her into a powerful Maximal warrior.
Roleplaying hints: Your internal struggle with identity has finally come to peace. You're a hero, sure, but you're self-assured. You understand now that you've gotten power the right way, power through love. Yes, it's cheesy, it's corny, but it is power, and after all that practicing for it, you know how to wield it. Don't settle for Silverbolt's namby-pamby way of being a hero. Rush in boldly, fight like a pro, but keep your cool. Oh, and, speaking of corny...well, yes, he's all that and more, that Fuzor, but you can't help loving him. Remember the reasons you held onto him, but scold the puppy when he speaks out of turn.

Timeline: Blackarachnia becomes a Transmetal II in the episode "Crossing the Rubicon," becoming not only a full-fledged Maximal but a lifemate to Silverbolt. She aids in the final battle and returns to Cybertron with the Maximal survivors.
Note: Perhaps an unusual choice of Nature for this character, given her attachment to Silverbolt, but remember that Blackarachnia still works best when allowed to work self-assured.
